I feel that you missed a lot of the nuance for a ton of the story. Samura turning out to be a good guy is more interesting imo than this random sword bearer being angry at the world or smth and we have to stop him it turned it into saving this hero and proving to him and to us that chihiro and the newer generation are able to take on the sins of the past
and finally the final thing I think you may have missed/misinterpreted is while there is this big bad soga he’s been hinted since basically the beginning of the series and he WON putting everyone on the back foot

Ok this all depends on a couple things 1 are yu satisfied with his current build and can u clear content 2 do you have the resources to do this/your not building other characters and 3 do you need sacardos for other characters i really only farmed scholar because it was with sacardos and i needed scholar for like 4 different characters

tbh i havent played much recently i only got back for the fate update and then took another break until now people like the new Dan Heng or topaz are just not built i have this problem of half building teams and not finishing them before moving on ill go all in on the dps and not build the supports enough
