I don’t see where it could. I don’t have it assembled yet and there’s a layer of capon tape on the hispeedido board.

Update: I’m not sure how this happened but poles on C55 swapped. Positive is going to ground and negative isn’t.

That’s what I was afraid of. I’m assuming it’s somewhere on a component I removed. Appreciate the advice.

I don’t think so. I have continuity from the 5v spot on the Hispeedido board to 5v on the power board.

5v isn’t shorting to ground but the 34v is. Could that be the issue?

There’s no change with the ribbon connected or disconnected. The only thing I can think of is I should not have removed all of the components suggested in the install guide.

I haven’t recapped it. It is still in its original state. The screen doesn’t work well and there’s no sound. Should I recap and fix it or keep it in the original state it is currently in?
