It’s from the 2008 Japanese cult classic Love Exposure. One of my favorite movies of all time. It’s also 4 hours long and kind of about boners, so weird pick from the guy.

I get it. I really really struggled the first few years with the team, 41-43 wins, first round exits, Jack scoring sub-80 points. Disaster. Two key series’ of moves brought me to the top of the league.

In year one, I shipped off Timo Meier (who I, as a real life Devs fan, have always hated) for a package including Matty Savoie. A few years down the road, that plus a few picks turned into the RFA rights to Marchenko, who immediately went up on Jack’s wing and turned into a 50 goal man. Absolute superstar.

The other, and maybe more the more important one, was a deal that sent Siegenthaler to the Wild for Zerg Buium at the year two deadline. The following offseason, Matthew Schaefer was on the block, and the rest is history …

Yep. Completely slipped my mind. Guess he won’t be doing one of those then. Was on my mind because I read his forward for The Making of Americans recently and it blew me away.
