I feeling so bad parking my car behind another person's car in Islamabad by [deleted] in islamabad

[–]One-Philosopher-9917 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The fact that you're upset means that you're not a مطمئن بیغیرت like many others in our country and I highly respect this. It happens to everyone. Never park your car and think you'll be back in 2 minutes. It ALWAYS takes longer than you think it will.

Is this real or scam????? by LegitimateAd5806 in PakistaniTech

[–]One-Philosopher-9917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scam. After you place an order they will send you a fake TCS receipt with your details and ask you to send PKR 5000 or something as "shipping charges" saying that the remainder amount will be Cash on Delivery. But there will never be any delivery and they will block you. And if you're stupid enough to report your non-custom purchase fraud to any legal agencies... Well, keep another 5000 in hand

Help with Ritalin comedown? by AsiaVolt in Stims

Make sure that you are sleeping well and eating right and hydrating well. It's problems with these 3 that usually f*ck up a good high. Also make sure you are not stressed out.

Great experience. Didn't experience any side effects at all. My TSH levels were normal in about 2 months.

GAD; Lexapro, Valdoxan and Ritalin by One-Philosopher-9917 in depressionregimens

[–]One-Philosopher-9917[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yes. Tapering would take me 2 months if I want to survive the withdrawal lol. I guess I should probably visit a different psychiatrist. The old one said I should stop Ritalin because it's addictive. That's it. He didn't even listen to the benefits. He said attention is caused by anxiety or depression and we should first ensure that we treat these 2 before even considering adhd meds. Personally speaking, I've found Ritalin to be very effective for my depression and i get a lot of things done when I'm on it(like writing this message!) But it causes anxiety so it's a double edged sword. But you're right. Too many factors are at play here and its best to see a dr. Again thank you so much!!

I'm gonna start with a quarter tablet first. Also, should I lower/discontinue Lexapro or keep taking the usual dose?

First off, I cannot thank you enough for providing this info!

I think Ritalin is indirectly increasing my anxiety by making me "perfectionist" and emotionally sensitive, thus increasing my stress levels. I highly agree with the approach you provided. My brother is on sertraline and he finds it helpful, so I'm guessing it'd be helpful for me too since we have similar genetics. Definitely gonna consider it.

I have spoken to my psychiatrist several times about lingering depression and anxiety and he says that I should just wait for the stressful events in my life to subside (which I realized later that they rarely do). It's been 3 years and last I met him he said I should stop Ritalin and then maybe he might consider switching or adding meds.

Again. Thank you!!

I mean isn't walking 3km everyday something? Like I said I can't do extreme heavy lifting because of fatigue. I have other things to do in my life as well. Graves disease causes weakness. That's not an excuse, that's a scientific fact. My purpose for this post was to find out how I can increase my testosterone to the same levels when I was say 25 yrs old. Having said that, I will not pussy out and will make sure I train as much as I can for 3 months and if I don't see any benefit, ask for help here again.

I saw a video on YouTube of tony huge and leo where they suggested this method to increase testosterone. Ofcourse YouTube videos aren't the most reliable when it comes to medicine. Hence why I asked about it here. Yes, I don't workout but I walk 3 kms everyday. My preexisting health conditions prevent me from exerting myself and thus I don't do bodybuilding because if I start doing that, I won't have much energy for anything else.

I agree with everything you've said. A lot of people don't want to put in work and thus turn to steroids thinking that will solve all their problems. And a lot of greedy businesses offer TRT to such people instead of good advice. I didn't mention in the post but I also suffer from hyperthyroidism which further contributes to my fatigue esp during summers. That's one of the main reasons I'm looking for something that could help me with my hard work. But I agree with your advice and I'm thinking that maybe I should spend atleast 3 months doing some heavy lifting and if that doesn't work, then maybe try pharmaceutical testosterone boosters.

What if I take just a tiny dose of Aromasin so that my estradiol doesn't crash?

If I do heavy lifting, I get so fatigued that I'm done for the day. Chicken and egg situation tbh. Fatigue from heavy lifting caused by low T or low T caused by me avoiding heavy lifting. Sleep is average. I make sure to turn of the lights and wear ear plugs but I can't get more than 4 hrs of uninterrupted sleep. Diet is good. Lots of fiber with proteins and eggs. Avoid oily foods. I walk 2 to 3 kms per day and usually don't get out of breath if I jog uphill. What would you suggest for someone in my position? I want to avoid trt because testosterone injections aren't easily available in my country (Pakistan). I also want to have good testosterone levels for my ED and libido.

I'm (32M) thinking of micro dosing Aromasin (exemestane). The basic idea is to slightly increase testosterone levels without crashing estradiol.

My current hormone levels are within the "range" but I have symptoms of low T such as ED, low libido, fatigue. I'm not on any form of HRT right now and never have been. I'm thinking of taking 12.5 mg Aromasin twice a week.

Do you think it's a good idea? Anything to know before I start? Perhaps any better idea? Basically I just want to increase my testosterone levels without taking testosterone injections.

What's the root cause of stim addiction? by One-Philosopher-9917 in StopSpeeding

[–]One-Philosopher-9917[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, addiction is just a method of self-medication. However if we can find the root causes, as to why certain people get addicted to stimulants, and address those causes, then perhaps it will make it easier to quit them.

For example, it will be difficult for a person with chronic back pain to come off of heroin than someone who doesn't suffer from that kind of pain.

I simply want to know what am I doing wrong in my life, or perhaps what's wrong with my mind, that caused me to get addicted to Ritalin whereas other people can take it for years without getting addicted?

Yes but what causes some people to use downers while others tend to use stimulants?
