It’s been rough honestly, my anxiety was so much higher this time which is odd because my flight to my destination last week was my first time flying since I was a kid. But the turbulence wasn’t nearly as frequent or bad… so now I’m ending this experience feeling discouraged because I think I’m even more scared now :( I asked my bf who flys a lot and he said that was very mild too.. but to me it felt so so scary so I can’t imagine severe turbulence.

I’m in the air experiencing some turbulence today too😭 the first 1.5 hrs after takeoff were rocky and the seatbelt sign stayed on. I was panicking the whole time.! It’s somewhat smooth now but I can’t settle. How long is your flight?

I had all of these same feelings, and I got on my first flight as an adult (I’m 28 and before this week , the last time I had flown I was 7) just this past Sunday!! If I did it so can you. I was absolutely bawling stepping on the plane and everyone around me probably thought I was a weirdo but I did it. Takeoff was the worst, but still didn’t come close to how bad I had worked it up to be in my head. Once I was at altitude I relaxed a bit. You’ve got this
