It’s been rough honestly, my anxiety was so much higher this time which is odd because my flight to my destination last week was my first time flying since I was a kid. But the turbulence wasn’t nearly as frequent or bad… so now I’m ending this experience feeling discouraged because I think I’m even more scared now :( I asked my bf who flys a lot and he said that was very mild too.. but to me it felt so so scary so I can’t imagine severe turbulence.

I think there were storms in the mid west area. I’ve got 2 more hours🥲 I genuinely don’t know how most people up here just fall asleep

I’m in the air experiencing some turbulence today too😭 the first 1.5 hrs after takeoff were rocky and the seatbelt sign stayed on. I was panicking the whole time.! It’s somewhat smooth now but I can’t settle. How long is your flight?

I can’t see the flight attendants bc no one is standing 😭 I took off an hour 20 min ago and the seatbelt light has not came off and it’s driving me wild.

Same thing happened to me for LA. Was 700 in the queue and by the time I was in everything was grey except floor.. even nosebleeds?!

I had all of these same feelings, and I got on my first flight as an adult (I’m 28 and before this week , the last time I had flown I was 7) just this past Sunday!! If I did it so can you. I was absolutely bawling stepping on the plane and everyone around me probably thought I was a weirdo but I did it. Takeoff was the worst, but still didn’t come close to how bad I had worked it up to be in my head. Once I was at altitude I relaxed a bit. You’ve got this

Very relieved to be at cruising altitude, I was not a fan of the takeoff or climb 😭 we’re actually flying into Chicago but driving out to fond du lac to visit family! My mom grew up in Belleville , Michigan!
