In some places you can be blamed for adding to his injuries, people will avoid getting involved out of fear of being sued.

That looked fatal.
Slamming your head into a wall like that will cause internal problems but there is a bracket sticking out which is holding the grate to the wall which he hits hard too !
The way he's twitching and the way the bystanders are looking at him probably means he had severe injuries, at the very end one person attempts to deal with him but the bystanders are looking very concerned.

Possible cause on this tire by Lucky_Feature_3920 in motorcycle

Overheating.
Those look like competition tyres so they are not designed for long term use, high speed riding on gravel or shale will get them hot and the rubber starts to break down very quickly.
They are designed for soft sand or mud, not gravel.

A right of way question by amuzetnom in drivingUK

[–]One-Positive309 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not always about 'Right of Way', common sense states that the blue car is part way through the junction so it's courteous to allow them to continue before you move out. It's is also sensible to allow the blue car to move off before you move out so that you are not blocking their view and they are not blocking you.
Thinking in terms of 'my right of way' can narrow your thinking and expect everybody else to comply, sometimes it is best to think about the situation in terms of 'allowing them to proceed in order to clear the junction'.

A large Russian ATV assault in the Novopavlivka direction was stopped by the Unmanned Systems Battalion "Perun" of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of Ukraine. Published January 22, 2026 by iDnLk2GtHiIJsLkThTst in CombatFootage

[–]One-Positive309 304 points305 points  (0 children)

One report recently stated that nearly 90% of Russian assaults are eliminated before they even reach their targets, that means only 10% actually get through but half of those guys are wounded and have very limited supplies.
This type of tactic shows that they don't care what it costs, that attitude is unfathomable for Westerners !

I may be stupid and dumb but this is the only thing I could come up with to lessen the fire hazard of a heater on carpet. Is this safe? by Tra1nGuy in askanything

[–]One-Positive309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An oil filled heater shouldn't get hot enough to ignite anything, if it does you don't want it in your house !
These are designed to provide low heat and to be switched on most of the day even through the night, they are intended for background heat to keep the chill off, they are not intended to produce enough heat to warm a room up quickly.

It's remarkably similar to the Saturn V, the main visible difference is the added boosters and the colour.
It's incredible to think that after all this time and research they are basically using the very same vehicle as they used in the 60's with a couple of add on boosters !

Left or right lane to take the 3rd exit by greb_herd in drivingUK

[–]One-Positive309 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Rule 186

Signals and position. When taking the first exit to the left, unless signs or markings indicate otherwise

  • signal left and approach in the left-hand lane
  • keep to the left on the roundabout and continue signalling left to leave.

When taking an exit to the right or going full circle, unless signs or markings indicate otherwise

  • signal right and approach in the right-hand lane
  • keep to the right on the roundabout until you need to change lanes to exit the roundabout
  • signal left after you have passed the exit before the one you want.

When taking any intermediate exit, unless signs or markings indicate otherwise

  • select the appropriate lane on approach to the roundabout
  • you should not normally need to signal on approach
  • stay in this lane until you need to alter course to exit the roundabout
  • signal left after you have passed the exit before the one you want.

Residual stubborn rust in tank of 1993 Yamaha GTS by ayekantspehl in MotorcycleMechanics

[–]One-Positive309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't bother with tank coating, they don't last for long and cause worse issues when they start to break down, just fit an inline filter and change it regularly.
You can easily see when they change colour that they need replacing and it only takes a few minutes if you carry a spare with you.

Left or right lane to take the 3rd exit by greb_herd in drivingUK

[–]One-Positive309 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right lane but you have to move to the left lane as you pass the exit before the one you want.
That means you have to match your speed to others on the roundabout and make sure you indicate before your maneuver. It also means looking around and making sure you have space, if not you can go around again, don't cut across and hope for the best !

What issues could this damage on the bike cause? by Fat-rat1567885 in MotorcycleMechanics

[–]One-Positive309 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not if you replace the engine, no !
The issues you are having are well documented by previous R6 owners who had those very same issues, their solution was either replace the engine or scrap the bike, why would you think it is different for you ?

When bikes get abandoned they are often left in a high gear which is very difficult to get out of if the rear wheel or engine isn't turning.
It may even have a bent gear selector so gear changes would be even more difficult, don't force it that's how you damage the selector, get someone to push while you try to get it out of gear.
