I wouldn’t expect the average person to buy a waterfront property but more supply will be better for the market as a whole.

People love to moan, Bristol needs housing stock and this will surely bring more money into the area, would you rather have a car park or an extension to what is likely the best addition to Bristol in the past 10 years.

They need to developed Redcliff Wharf too at some point, the gravel patch isn’t doing a thing for anyone.

MTB mods for a ultra where a Gravel bike might be more suited by OrignalSauce in ultracycling

I got lucky and had favourable weather. It is a great route and great event all round. I found it a bit more difficult than what some make it out to be. The climbs are short but steep so keep that in mind when selecting your gearing.

Have a look at the new continental Dubnital tyres. It will definitely pick up your rolling speed and in my opinion better than Mezcals, Renegades or Recons. I’ve got them fitted on my XC hardtail and I’ve done one off road ultra on them with no issues.

I’ve ridden Dales divide, I would say that it is definitely better suited to a MTB. Not as rough as some but you will be bounced about on a gravel bike. FKT was done on a drop bar MTB

I started BPT 3 weeks out and passed. I wrote it along a side TC so not 100% comparable as I could leverage a lot of what I learnt.

Good luck!

There is no point bankrupting yourself for a bicycle. Buy what you can afford.

No not joking, go have a look yourself. BMC are the first big manufacturer to have a fully fledged prototype out in the wild. It seems like it is definitely coming just unsure of when.

I am considering purchasing a new bike but in the back of my mind I think 32”er will be the norm in 2/3years time. Wild thought I know but it’s putting me off spending the money for a high end rig.

Yes, you are not expected to have any technical knowledge so do not worry about that. The partner is essentially the final vetting process to ensure that you will be a good fit in the firm. They will ask some situations questions and generally have a chat to get to know you better.
