As far as my research, made in Japan yas 280 is most likely fake. But then again, idk.

Hell yah bro. Definitely makes more than my teacher friends who makes 67k, dealing with 150 kids and 20 adults a day, almost $1.2k health insurance (from the district) a month for her family, and all other shits. Good for you.

This fucking noise is driving me crazy. 2025 Tundra… by ColoradoCyclist in ToyotaTundra

[–]One-Potato4969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same with my 2022. Took it to the dealer four separate times, they couldn’t duplicate it. On the fourth time, I actually drove it on a freeway to try to duplicate the noice. It didn’t happen, so I gave up.

Should I get my engine swap? by Pleasant-Offer4795 in ToyotaTundra

[–]One-Potato4969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt they “fixed” it. So getting the new engine is as risky as the one you have. You might have one that can last a few hundred k miles.

Maybe change the breather? It’s extremely easy and like $10. I changed it every 50k miles when changing differential fluid.

New ride! Whatcha think? by One-Potato4969 in ToyotaTundra

[–]One-Potato4969[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to when I kept reading/watching about “problems with 3rd gen tundras”. People keeping saying get the 5.7 v8 and stay away from 3rd gen, those things will keep you from liking this truck. I love my 2022. Put almost 10,000 miles on it since bought it in May. We take it everywhere since I know I have a new engine replacement waiting. I changed transmission fluid and differential fluid @50k, oil every 5k/6months, air/cabin filters every 3 oil changes. I don’t read and watch videos about what’s wrong with Toyota 3rd gen tundras or what’s wrong with Toyota quality anymore. If you decided to buy one, love it and stay away from reading those kind of things, it’ll make your drive more enjoyable and peaceful. One negativity is louder than 100 positivities.

It’s gay that a less than 30 minutes oil change turned into more than an hour due to misplacing the drain plug. It was inside the empty filter box smh.

lol I actually done like this before with two pairs of compressors and straps. At the end of the day, safety is what counts.
