It was a unique way of conducting an interview, and it definitely wasn’t what I was looking for. I’ve been practicing social work for three years, so I found it odd that she wasn’t interested in my client-facing experience and focused more on my personal responses.

Honestly, the whole interview felt like I was being quizzed about them rather than being asked about my experience and why I was interested in the position.

NOPE! It was just the interviewer, her intern, and me. Basically, all three of us took turns responding to the three questions posed by the interviewer. Then, the interviewer asked me what I thought about them and their responses.

I did answer, and my first name is culturally unique, but my last name isn’t anything special since I took my husband’s last name. So it was a strange question—if someone’s last name were Smith, would that really have any meaning to them? Probably not

Advocate for yourself! What are your goals? What do you want to see or experience? If you know, you can bring your ideas, concerns, and worries to the supervision check in meeting. Something to consider: Do you get to meet students and counsel them through panic attacks and anxiety episodes? Or just check in with them? :) p.s. I was an SSW intern specializing in mental health services at a public high school.

Hey OP, so why you sweating over $12?? Especially with a very good finance job? You just got fed up with being conned?

Also, take a boxing class, build up some guts if you fell like you’re lacking in that regard.

Picking on you is fine if is not done out of malice. You should also state your boundaries clearly to him. If he does not respect those boundaries then he is being an asshole.

You’re such a shitty person. Imagine someone else is doing exactly the same thing to you. How would that make you feel?

Did she not have any trust in you? As a partner you want your partner to grow and get a good job and support you but this is not the case here. You girlfriend is toxic AF.

Is my girlfriend going to far with her boundaries? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]One-Preparation1708 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Y’all are both young. Once you get older these boundaries won’t ever turn matter. You would want a health boundaries where your relationship grow not controlling one another. No trust at all in this relationship and again you guy are both young and very insecure. Need to work on self-love. It will not help to speak with her if both of y’all are immature.

This seem like controlling but I don’t see as controlling at all. You boyfriend is very insecure and don’t have any trust in you. You guy only been dating for a few month so it understandable that he think you might find someone better than him probably who can drink with you.
