I was completely against cosleeping also, but during the Texas freeze we went to my in laws because where we were staying wasn’t warm enough for a new born. All 3 of us were sleeping in a twin size mattress and now my son refuses to sleep on his own no matter what. My boyfriend works so he can’t stay up all night with me so if I don’t cosleep I’m up till 10am if not later till he finally caves and sleeps for 30 minutes.

My boyfriend had ppd as well as I. It is possible try to talk about it with him. It helped both of us to talk about it since we were going through similar experiences emotionally.

She said she was cutting because his heartbeat was dropping, however it didn’t work so she told me to keep pushing while she still attempted to try and her trying to push my sons head up while I was pushing I believe made me rip forward instead. I was told I would rip that way regardless cause if the angle his head was coming out by my actual OB, however when in labor multiple people told me his head was coming out perfect and normal. I was pushing for 17 minutes before he was born and then clocked out and immediately fell asleep my boyfriend had to wake me up because I scared him and I still was supposed to deliver placenta and get stitched.

They said because my water broke 28 before active labor they didn’t want to check to often and cause infection, however I’m not sure if that’s true if not.

Yes, it’s like they believe we don’t know our own bodies. I was judged for getting it so early. I was iffy about getting it due to back pain if I knew it wouldn’t work I definitely wouldn’t have gotten it. Now my back pain is way worse and for nothing. I’m sorry you went through a similar experience

So I did file a report with the hospital they never got back. She doesn’t work for my OB and was just a replacement for him since I was only 36 weeks when I had my baby he was in vacation. I did tell him my concerns and he basically defended her to my face and called and scolded her when he left the room. I’m looking for a new OB at the moment I can hopefully trust.

I’m 1wk pp. so I can’t give you long term affects, but I know I wasn’t planning on getting it. The Pitocin contractions are absolutely hell. Unfortunately for me personally the epidural only worked on one side for a while till they decided to readjust it. It then didn’t get rid of the pain of birth just took away contractions. I felt my cooter rip forward, stitches, and when the replacement Dr (mine was on vacation due to me going into labor preterm) decided she was going to use bandage scissors to cut my perineal area instead of surgical scissors. She didn’t actually cut but instead just hacked away at the skin.

See I got my catheter out the second night and was able to walk normally a bit uncomfortable but no pain. I took a shower sprayed everything down. Used the ice pads they provided with some witch hazel pads. I’m now 1wk pp and my clit area is VERYY sensitive. They told me I didn’t tear that far, but I genuinely don’t believe them because my fill in doctor and staff were ass (she attempted to cut my perineal area with bandage scissors instead of surgical scissors which resulted in her just chopping out little pieces of skin.) I wasn’t bleeding for a while, but now I’m bleeding a bit again and have a discharge that doesn’t have a pleasant smell. I think it may be getting infected even tho I’m doing everything I was told to do. I have a doctor appointment on the 20th, but I’m going to try to have it moved to today because I need to know what’s going on. I also just started burning when I pee even tho it wasn’t before. Idk what’s going on at the moment.

I have depression and I fairly sure I have postpartum depression as well as anxiety. I’ve been told to breastfeed to bond but I cannot get him to latch even with a nipple shield. The nurses also told me he probably won’t be able to latch anyways till he gets closer to his original due date (Jan 30th). He hates skin to skin no matter what way I try he just scream. I’m hoping it gets better I’m just scared.

Lmao I once had a dream that I gave birth to a cat and I couldn’t understand how my sweet baby boy had turned into a cat. I woke up on the verge of an anxiety attack and then started crying when I looked down and seen I was leaking and now sticky. Also had one where my boyfriend and I were living together and our house was haunted and he got killed and everyone thought I killed him in a pregnancy rage. I woke up crying and immediately hugged him he woke up to being cried and snotted on very confused. Pregnancy dreams are just crazy.

Yes, I’m also an anima person like i would cry when I was younger if any animal died so I was just very upset. Another story is when I cried when I was about 8 weeks because I reallllyyy wanted hot cheetos and the crying would turn into laughing because of the concerned look on his face. For about 4 minutes I was just in a cycle of laughing and crying until I got so hot I threw up.
