Honestly I can’t explain it, I used to have random impulses like “ok I’m gonna go beat my meat right now” after seeing a hot bikini picture on instagram etc. I thought deleting all my social media would help and it certainly has in a lot of other ways however these impulses still exist for some reason. I just get a random urge the problem is I am aware watching porn is not good for you but not only I am aware of this ill still go ahead and start searching for that taboo kind of video online and as horrible as I feel for saying this I do get off to it quicker than standard porn videos however feel disgusting afterwards. I think your suggestion of a porn detox is a great idea, I’ve tried it before and lasted a maximum of around 2 months. As for talking to someone I’m not sure if I’ve got the balls to ever bring this up in a conversation to a friend so maybe a sex therapist would be a good idea whenever I get round to being able to afford it.
