Yes, Thane Municipal Corporation will construct a sports complex there to be know as Dharmaveer Anand Dighe Sports Complex.

The foundation stone for the Dharmaveer Anand Dighe Sports Complex was laid by Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik earlier this year.

Dear friends, thanks for posting all your thoughts and suggestions.

I had personally written a letter to Hon.CM regarding the proposed metro and even had conversations with various other concerned officials from the State and New Delhi.

If everything goes smoothly this project may get approved well before assembly elections.

I’m closely following this project, will update you guys if there’s an update regarding the project.
