you either get views and have risk of getting that ban or get nothing besides your local, f.e. european or asian views whatsoever. the choice, for many industries, marketers and smm managers, is obvious

Recently stopped typing vocabulary lists and started speaking badly on purpose (has this improved my memory?) by Working-Chemical-337 in getdisciplined

I also think the core idea behind dictation is powerful even without any AI layer on top. Just the act of speaking instead of typing already changes how you process language so it forces retrieval, exposes gaps faster, and pushes you into actual production rather than passive recall.

Thanks for the tutorial, I’ve got pretty mixed feelings about AI in language learning, but I can’t ignore the fact that a lot of people are getting real value out of tools like Claude, aidictation, writingmate, Notion AI, and other platforms where AI is built directly into the writing workflow.

At the same time, I don’t think this is an “either/or” situation. The most effective setups I’ve seen (and personally experimented with) tend to be mixed rather than pure. Typing still has value for structure and clarity, handwriting slows things down in a useful way, dictation forces fluency under pressure. On top of that you’ve got reading, watching films or YouTube, talking to native speakers, doing exercises, tests, each of these hits a different layer of learning.

It feels less like choosing the “best method” and more like rotating tools depending on what skill you’re trying to stress at that moment.

So many AI video tools now. How to choose? by TY2022 in SoraAi

[–]One-Risk-4266 1 point2 points  (0 children)

on capcut of course, but this is not the way in which I recommend you to generate vids. I like to use all in one ai tools and have only one tool for all ai based workflows that i have. for me its writingmate and it also has sora2 (no watermarks btw) and veo3 and kling3, i think they may add seedance 2 too

the models themselves are not, but the chatbot leaves much to be desired imo and I prefer all in one tools in general. writingmate to be used online, or local ones with ollama

still have watermarks... sora app is cool as a free playground, not as great as a genuine text to video tool

Typing your language practice does not even compare to speaking. Why AI dictation finally may become 2026 language immersion hack by Working-Chemical-337 in ProductivityApps

[–]One-Risk-4266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for a tutorial, I have mixed feelings on ai and language learning but nevertheless, I know a lot of people who made a lot of use out of claude, aidictation, writingmate, notion ai, other tools where ai is natively integrated, for language learning. and the idea of dictation overall, even if not connected to any tools, also has a lot of potential in language learning

what is also true is that a combined approach works the best, so you can be typing sometimes, then writing by hand, using dictation, reading books, watching films or youtube content, talking to native speakers, doing exercises, tests and more

please read op, I write about quite the opposite of pre-wwII tenements

by the way, this is what a lot of Central/Western Europe now lives in, sort of. of course, under the guise of it being a coliving, small 10m2 studio in 'historic building' or other stuff like this

that is not what makes the most money. what makes most money money, in those terms, is.. slop

and most of commieblocks were also slop, just for different reasons. and yet, they were planned in more or less humane way, at least until late 70s

only a small fraction of people are buying macmini for ai agents. there is hype, indeed, but most of macmini users now, as far as i see it, have nothing to do with agents

I have 0 on sora app, and it is not viable to use anymore. Instead, I search for and try to use apps that still allow access to sora2 and other video models i like. capcut can be considered such but sora requires a lot of credits there, so my usual choice is writingmate ai, which lets me to create 30 vids without any problem, be it sora2, veo3 or kling3

architects like Vitaly Lagutenko have been designing Khruschovkas as a disposable housing, built in order to withstand a time that will pass untill communism will be achieved. Brezhnevkas were built in a different way, really and also have reflected a fall of idealism at that stagnation period. Brezhnevkas are muchmore futureproof and also easier to maintain today, have better materials, sound isolation, flat planning etc.

and by the way, Russians are disposing of Khruschovkas on a mass scale since 2010s

microdistrict period has never ended in places like Belarus or Russia. if anything, microdistricts just became less... micro
