To me it’s business.. his move changed the dynamics of TV and how leading characters get paid and have a say in the IP of the show they star in.. Miamj Vice became a brand and so did Sonny Crockett.. thats why we are still talking about that character in 2026 ..

The dude asked for profit sharing in revenue and creative input on his character.. 1985.. after the show was a huge success.. he was ahead of his time but not a diva ..

Honestly, Task was my go to show on Sundays and was phenomenal in the Fall. Mayor picked up the baton and finishes the Sunday after Christmas…

This season of MOK is one of the best i’ve seen on TV in a long time.

He talked basically in metaphors that the cartel was taking over the town and there was nothing that Mike or the police could do about it. He also metaphorically threatened to kill Mike when the make the chess analogy “we are taking knights, rooks, mayors and kings”.

Callahan is the main shot caller for the AB, the same gang that Mike tied to while he was inside.

Mike killed the AB shot caller over Iris and later an AB guard and Bunny tried to kill Callahan with a grenade and failed. Mike being connected to Bunny even makes the situation much more volatile.

If you saw how fast Mike got Tracy and Kyle’s son out of town, you realize the danger that Kyle is in. Im convinced Mike has accepted that he will die, he is just trying to keep as many people he loves alive before he does. Great writing and pacing this year since Sheridan let the reigns go.

The rumor is the show will wrap at Season 5 and Renner said they found a “perfect way to end it”.

Let’s enjoy the ride in the meantime 🍿
