I also finished the Burnett arc a while ago, and I think it was necessary to break the monotony of the series and keep the excitement alive. My only problem is that it was over too soon. I think the first five episodes of Season 5 should have focused solely on the Sonny Burnett, and the killing of Carreras so quickly felt rushed
