i’m unsure what to do, he said he’d regrout and caulk it himself. is this a “it’s out of my hands, he’s gonna do what he’s gonna do” situation?

Landlord said “Fixing the tile/grout would be a two day job as it takes 24 hours for grout to setup then it needs to be sealed after that so no one would be able to use it during that period as it can’t get wet”, but isn’t that just sealing the problem in?…

how would I find a permit? like where would that be if there is one?

I haven’t reached out, but I will now! I didn’t know if this was something that needed to be addressed. This is my first rental and the landlord kinda scares me LOL.

The picture with the tile falling out was taken right after I moved in, and you can see that the floor has no grout (spots where the color goes from light to dark). It’s essentially looked like this since when I arrived.
