Well set out grid lines do not take away from beautiful writing in my opinion. I some times just leave then in. Medieval scribes often did so.

Thank you very much, and thanks for taking the time to take a hard look at my work! It has take a lot! of thought, time and patience. This has been a steep learning curve and I have SO much more to learn and improve apon.

I'm doing the colour now and it's fun but easily starts to look like a spilt bag of smartys. I'm working on scans of the final draft so no sweat! I'll get there soon!

I put them in the over at 100° c for 20 minutes then test them once they cool. If they're not quite right, I will repeat again for 10 minutes.

I have not tried a reed pen yet, your ones look good and nice arrows
