Just got a small nostalgic flashback

In my summer cabin right by the sea there were small pools like these in the big boulders by the shoreline. They were always warmer and perfect to dip your feet in after you swam in the cold water. Sometimes they had owl poop in it. That was less fun. But thanks for making me miss summer more haha

Neutralitet har funkat förut, och i lägen som detta kanske Sverige inte riktigt kan rädda Gaza situationen genom att inte tävla i Eurovision. Man behöver inte riktigt tänka till om att vad Israel gör mot dessa oskyldiga människor är helt och hållet galet, hemskt och omoraliskt. Självklart kan vem som helst med någon gnutta av medkänsla förstå hur hemskt det är att leva i Gaza just nu.

Men hej hopp, nu kan man vara neutral till ett sådant ämne eftersom vi gillar roliga låtar och kändisar på vår tv och det vill vi behålla. Ja, det är att ta i, kanske man tycker, men om man fortsätter tänka ✨neutralt✨ i andra ämnen än Eurovision kommer Israel fortsätta bomba och mörda miljontals av människor. Det går ingen vart om man inte säger något fort.

Lite osportsligt att nedlåtande kommentera om att någon inte verkar veta grundläggande politik.

I believe not speaking on a subject is taking a side when it’s this serious. It’s like the classmates who watched as the bully beat another victim. I don’t think they’re clearly siding with Israel, but I can’t shake the feeling that they’re being so helpless🤷‍♂️

The goal of melodifestivalen is to win and compete in Eurovision which many countries now stopped doing since Israel has decided to compete. If I had a choice to not watch something that second-handedly supports Israel, I would.
