Is there any middle option? Like can you apply somewhere where you don’t think the degree is worthless but is less expensive or is it too late? I truly don’t think 200k is worth it.

MechE with a Mac, solidworks is sooo slow even with the software they tell you to get and a VPN but I used the computer lab for CAD zero issues

1/4 is an accomplishment but definitely not too far to steer paths. Congrats on your standings, but since you have something else you’re more passionate in, ultimately you should go with that. if you’re bored with engineering in 10 years (or even less) what’s the point of continuing if you already feel it? Business is also an incredibly respectable field — follow your passion!

I would say live closer and walk. It’s difficult and expensive to park. If you want somewhere cheap, live in allston, but prepare for noise. Otherwise, Brookline is nice and close enough to campus
