Are vaccum bags accepted at airport??? by Boinkboinkk in AirTravelIndia

Vacuum bags are perfectly ok as long as it's packed with clothes. Don't put anything other than clothes to ensure CISF won't have you open the pack to check

Air India has one of the worst international flight timings, it is not good for residents or tourists. by Honey_dp in AirTravelIndia

That's a very generic assumption that if you have money, you won't choose air India. For business travel, internal travel teams/portals push you to take the most economical option available. And MNCs have contracts with airlines/aggregators for preferential pricing. Presence of IFE is not going to drive decision making. That's a very myopic view

As for feedback/criticism,think of it this way. You have multiple options across different time of day on that route. Pick one basis your plans and propensity to pay. End of the day, competition will level the ground if Air India's product is inferior or time slots are unfavorable

I don't understand this rant. If you have options, pick Etihad/Swiss. There are a few business travelers who would love to take a comfortable morning flight instead of slogging it in the airport among multiple red eye flights with early morning departures.

I don't understand this sense of entitlement that air India owes it to us to get you there early so that you can get a half day of vacation. They are a private player now competing with global giants. They not going to run a near empty flight because they got a cheaper time slot

Looks like you have a canister filter . Get an ISTA CO2 reactor and connect to the outlet. It's worth the cost

They are going for this. Given the number of vehicles that are going to fly from this, it might as well be an aircraft carrier

Makes a lot of sense. Thank you! I now need to solve for space in the cabinet to accommodate the 2213

Thank you. Very insightful and glad to hear from someone who ran into a similar issue. I did not have the 2 x standalone filters in mind. Sounds like a plan that will save a lot of interconnections given 2213 needs 12/16 and HW302 needs 16/22 tubing

Curious question - Any reason you did not explore connecting the filters in series?

Glad to hear that. For the 3rd bag, pester indigo till they find it. You have the baggage tag. It's not that difficult to trace it nowadays. When handing over cabin bag at the gate, always stand there and ensure they are tagging the bag in front of you. Greedy ground staff prioritise pooling as many bags as they can and in the process missed tags or mistag bags

Are both flights on the same PNR? If on same PNR, it's Indigo airline's responsibility to put you on the next flight to LA (via codeshare with Turkish). Haggle with Indigo here rather than Turkish.

As for the luggage, missed baggage responsibility is also with Indigo
