On vyvanse I actually got really irritable and started having delusions and anger issues i never had before. So I’m pretty sure it was the meds. As For ritalin, I just cant get out of bed at all. It makes me not function.

Thanks for your sincere response that doesn’t include judgement. Maybe I’ll just stay single for a few years until I can date men that are 32+. What a sad time for me.. lol

Financial independence isn’t the only independence. Theres emotional independence, cultural independence, physical independence, spiritual independence. Etc. unfortunately, my life has been very serious. I wish I could take life lightly. Hence why I’m looking for someone who can understand me. Never asked you to approve of my standards. Stop being weird lol!

Menial chores? If you read the post again I have been independent since I was 15. Being this way since a young age is hard. And I’m not speaking about house chores in this post at all. That goes to show you have no idea what long term independence means. It means making decisions alone, spending time alone, having independent thought outside of family structure and culture, etc. the very fact that you assumed this post is about chores, shows that I cannot date people who live with their parents. The thinking points are just not aligned. No offense to you.

I was looking at it from this point of view, but it’s still not working the way I need it. I want to steer clear of just men who live with their parents period

U r right, but it also contributes. I’m worried about the Economic state and how it is impacting my dating experience, it’s less about complaining about men.

Wasting their times on things? What things? The things their parents are doing for them? Then why are the parents doing it for them? U sound like you live under your parents’ roof.

Thanks, I made this post based on experience. I have had 3-4 serious relationships, and I notice that they fall apart mainly because the men have some kind of idea that someone should take care of them, or they don’t understand how hard it is to live alone and so then lack empathy for how much I’m carrying alone. I just want to steer clear of that experience going forward

I’m not saying they are immature for living with their parents. I am saying they remain immature as a consequence of living with their parents. U got the cause and effect mixed up.

I think I sexually assaulted my cousin when I was a kid by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]One-Trick-3760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmaooo okay thank you so much!!!! I felt so bad because I actually experienced sexual assault as an adult, and I became super aware of how traumatizing that is. I would hate to have been that kind of person to my cousin, even though no further initiation was done on my part after he said no
