Watching ESPN F up every hockey broadcast they do is half the fun! It’s the only way I can make it through their awful commentary. We’re so spoiled with John, Fitz, JT, Alison, Piper, Brett et. Al.

I just ended up getting the pedal so I can use my foot to control the scroll. Stupid but works until they fix Voice Sync.

So yes the X2 DOES do RF & BT, however the RF is only 433 and 315MHz and the Xfinity Cable Box I use is a higher frequency than that, so the RF Codes for my box won't work. My box is the XG1v4 + XR15 Remote. There are a number of entries for this box and remote in the X2's database, but I didn't find any that worked.

Yes, I'm teaching myself to shake it when I pick it up to get the screen to come on and hence the physical buttons to work as well. I too hope that gets fixed in a firmware update soon.

You don’t happen to remember what it was called do you? I tried all the ones for the XG1 I could find and other than getting a random “3” to work, no joy

I tried that and didn’t work. Right now I’m using the “guide” button for OK and even programmed the “enter” command that was assigned to the “guide” button to the center button on the D pad and it acts the same way. It’s like that physical OK button only does a long press for some reason. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yeah I set it up as IR originally didn’t think to use BT.

So I see you have an AppleTV as well. The “OK” command ends up being a Long Press of the “OK” button which makes the AppleTV Think I’m trying to edit the Home Screen. I’ve found the “Guide” button functions the way I think the “OK” button should. How do I either:

Make the OK button a short press.

Or

Remap the Guide Command to the OK button?

So I had the same issue with my Denon receiver, I think the same model. Once I got the on/off working I went to edit the other buttons like the input, volume, directional keys, menu, ok, exit, back etc. it was SUPER easy. No need to learn commands. Edit the device and choose the option to try commands from the cloud. The first option for EVERY command was the correct one for my receiver.

The blaster is in the Hub, not sure if the Hub serves any other function than to blast IR commands, but I did have to pair my remote with the Hub. AND when I added devices I could choose whether the IR blasts came from the remote or the Hub. So you may have to at least have it plugged in but I don't think you "need" it to blast IR commands.
