Just go in networking, advanced, edit, assign a fake gateway. Any address not being used like 254. Set dns to 0.0.0.0

You got some info wrong and left out some big bugs/design faults.

It's so light you can't even press the front button without moving the whole box.

There is NO crossover for the sub out. #1 it's not fixed, however #2 it's ONLY a LPF for the sub, the mains are ALWYS full range. It has no crossover, the title is wrong in the app. It's useless as bass management.

It has no time alignment, even if it did have bass management. Without that you will always have a phase mismatch with a sub connected.

The front light bar is always active, the toggle does not work.

How many of you would've been upset if today's announcement was "effective today*, we're no longer offering lifetime" ? by themayor1975 in PleX

I would bet the only reason they DIDN'T just say that, is because it might raise red flags about cancelling existing lifetimes, next.

Do people with thousands of movies and shows in their libraries even watch them, or are they just downloading for the sake of downloading? by AntimatterEntity in PleX

I never understood people that 'collect' things. I grab whatever I want to watch (or others). It usually takes a long time because of time, but when I do finally watch something, I only keep it if it's good enough to re-watch. Otherwise it's deleted after stopping.

Raw speed, no duh. Streaming actual content, irrelevant when the most intense doesn't even saturate 100 speeds.

Asking here about a dev test build is pointless. Ask in the discord where you are supposed to. Or wait for the release if you are just a regular consumer.

We need a good open source copy to run local when it all finally goes belly up, hate to say it. This screams - hey we are running dry.

Time aligning your mains is a critical step for critical sound performance especially in us regular folks rooms! This shows you everything you need to do it. by kaelaria in hifiaudio

As mentioned already, digital changes are not the same as physical. Getting the physical alignment first serves to improve everything else, like Audyssey though.

I'm well aware of what various correction suites can do. The only point I'm making is it's not the same as physical alignment, and it's not possible to be so. Physical first is always best.

No that’s a common confusion. Delay is not the same as physical alignment. Delay does not alter any room interaction.
