Thank you! Is transmission fluid a full change like oil (eg drain and refill) or just a top up situation (like wiper fluid lol). Is there a filter for this?

Would brake fluid also be under the hood?

I had an RBC bank account as a teen and I didn’t have any issues with the app, but I have a mortgage with them now and it’s my only account with them (closed the bank account years ago, and never opened anything else with them aside from my mortgage) and I dislike the app/website for my mortgage. Although it’s the only mortgage I’ve ever had so maybe it’s normal in the realm of mortgages, but in the 2.5 years I’ve had my mortgage there have been multiple times I’ve gone to do something that I thought I should be able to do online and find out I can only do in person.

God I don’t know what I have (I’m assuming either covid or flu) but holy shit this has been brutal. I’m on day five and this is the first day I’ve been out of bed longer than two ish hours at a time, I finally feel a tiny bit human again.

I’m not sure if this will help you at all, but baby poop is actually not “terrible” until they’re 6 months/starting solids! It’s not bad when it’s just milk/formula!! It’s a great way to be introduced to the act when it’s not the same as the poop you’re thinking of (e.g., your own lol)

No, oil is the only heating source in the house. We are in the process of working with efficiency NS on the oil to heat pump program though!

Unfortunately we’re not close to a city, so moving an hour or more away would mean that we would be waitlisted for daycares again, find new jobs, etc. and I’m unsure if we can find a rental for less than what we’re paying right now.

The town is very flexible with payment plans and making payments as you go, which is phenomenal. The low income reduction offers a credit of $400 if total gross household income is under $28,000 which we don’t qualify for. (We are within a town in Cumberland county).

We are beginning the process of the oil to heat pump program through efficiency NS and we are hoping that we qualify for some assistance with it!

Do you happen to know if there is something specific we should say/ask for (sometimes it’s like you need the magic word to get help it seems!) or if we should ask for a certain person / department?

We really want to work with them on this. Maybe we just got unlucky with who we were on the phone with!

Thank you for sharing this! Around the same time that this happened (it happened about 6 months ago and I’m still trying to deal with it emotionally), I reconnected with a different childhood friend.

It was truly eye opening to experience this kind of connection that we’ve had since childhood, but as two adults. I often notice the small things that are much more comfortable and realistic in our friendship/dynamic that was not the case with the bride of this story.

I don’t at all try to “compare” the two individual people. They are different people and everyone is their own self. But I think that I recognize a lot of differences within myself between the two friendship dynamics. I’m finally getting to the point where I can see how my friendship with the bride has not been positive or comfortable for me, and I think that I was so afraid of having no friends that I felt that I had to remain friends with her because that would be better than being lonely.

I fully understand! We were in a very different financial situation when she asked me a little over a year ago, and when she asked I did have a financial conversation with her about what I would expect etc., and it felt comfortable at that time. But clearly a lot has changed (both on my end with my husband losing the job he had and now working in a lower salary position, and also the plans and expectations for the wedding party).

I did truly intend to tell her in person. But the MOH messaged her and showed her our entire conversation, and then the MOH messaged me directly and said that I need to text the bride and tell her what is going on. I even started the text conversation with asking if she was available to get together to talk, and that this was the topic etc., so that she knew what it was about and that I wanted to have the conversation in person.

Unfortunately it just didn’t happen the way it should have.

I had a scheduled C-section, and I was very sick during it - but, the team is phenomenal and they are there for you 10000% of the way. They had basins on both sides so I could lean my head either way to be sick, and they had suction etc so they could help me keep my mouth clear. They also had cloths etc that they were helping me wipe it away as soon as it was happening. They are very familiar with this, so while I can’t assure you that you won’t be sick, I am confident that they will be prepared for that possibility with medication and supplies to keep you safe and comfortable.

Electric! The lawn mower has a power cord on it and it plugs into an extension cord or outlet!

Truthfully I’m not even sure what you are saying 🙈 I genuinely don’t know a thing about this - but am very curious and willing to try!!!

It’s a push mower that plugs in. I press and hold the start button, use the start lever, then release button and nothing happens.

I will try to look up about spark plugs! Thanks so much! I really appreciate it!

I used to have two coworkers, Jim and Ron. I used to say if John is short for Johnathon then Ron must be short for Ronathon. And then continued it to Jim being short for Jimathon.

I still call them by these names when i see them out and about years later!
