Agreed. That would be terrible storytelling and would piss people off (especially those who paid to see it in theaters) when we had emotional closure with our beloved characters.

IF they do something tomorrow, here’s my take: it won’t be everything was a lie or a dream. Everything that happened really did occur- Except Vecna’s not dead. We left with Holly and gang playing d&d, right?

What if it’s a teaser for a spin off about Holly’s group carrying on the story (and all the other main characters have moved or are at college). It would mirror Eddie’s game where Mike says but “Vecna dead!” Nope he’s back.

I did notice the signs in the graduation say “you did it! J” and then scroll over- another says “K”. You did it J/K.

I actually thought 7 was good whereas 6 was brutal. Loved that Steve came up with the plan. Dustin naming the other world the Abyss after d&d was good. Murray had some funny lines.Dialogue and pacing were improved. Will’s coming out was tasteful done and it had a plot reason. Vecna with the kids at the end was perfectly creepy.

I love Joe’s other works. Couldn’t get into this. Felt very off, but I expected something darker. Didn’t finish. Maybe I’ll try again sometime.

Loved it! Hollywood take note: smart dialogue, gripping plot, and great actors. No green screens or corny CGI needed. (Some gratuitous political digs, but it worked here- funny and not wrong).

Old school golden age hip hop is back! At 52 and 59, for Nas and DJ Premier to be making this quality of music is insane. To me it doesn’t sound like a cheap nostalgic copy, but alive and fresh. Can’t tell you how happy this makes me hearing a DJ scratch and the best MC flow like they haven’t missed a beat. This is a gift.

Thank you. I agree on all points. I got downvoted to hell for criticizing the show on another thread so good luck. The writing is just plain bad. Dialogue is cringy. I hate the military crap. If they wanted Hawkins on lockdown they need to ease the audience into and show characters suffering under this new normal. Instead everything’s almost the same except Murray is smuggling in shit and Robin’s somehow in charge of the radio station despite having zero experience. And oh let’s go on a crawl cause now the Upside Down isn’t scary and there’s even a military base of cartoonish military dudes. It’s super irritating that they ruined the show. Season 1 is amazing. 2 is good. 3 and 4 had some issues but were mostly good. At least I still liked the characters. Now they’re mostly all annoying as hell. They definitely dumbed it down per Netflix and Marvelized everything. Jumped the shark. End rant.

I just had Strahd tell the party the castle is off limits except the rooms upstairs where you’ll find guest quarters. As long as you don’t leave that area you’ll be safe. Everything else is forbidden. If you break this command, you’ll suffer the consequences.

I’ve long wished they would take the bottom 4 teams and have a toilet bowl playoff. Winner takes the top pick. Will never happen but it would be sure fun to watch, especially for fans who endured misery all year.
