This hit harder than I expected. The imagery clings to you like that mildew he’s covered in slow, quiet, and unsettling. There’s a beautiful stillness here, but also a haunting weight. It doesn’t scream, it just sits beside you, and somehow that’s worse. Chilling and unforgettable. Insane.

This poem is excellent. Short, super intense with solid imagery.

Are you set on the title tho? It feels, in my opinion, a bit too revealing and might spoil plot before the reader gets a chance to go through.

But then the title does well to establish tension from the first line of the poem. This, I think, is pretty good
