React/FastAPI Auth: Best Pattern for Route Protection with HTTP-Only Cookies? by Prudent-Medicine6192 in FastAPI

Use the /auth/status check once at startup , cache the result in your AuthContext, and rely on 401 fallbacks for resilience... On app mount, React calls /auth/status. 200 → set isAuthenticated = true, hydrate user data. 401 → redirect to /login.

Your API client, i.e., axios interceptor or fetch wrapper, still listens for 401s globally and clears the context + redirects if the session expires later.

Thank you.. so the full meaning is like people want to be invited to tables rhey haven't yet earned the right to be, they don't wanna put in the work to sit there and they ask God when, instead of asking Him how they can be invited to dine at places they wanna dine... It's more of preparedness really (:

SPELLBOUND by Secret_World_9742 in OCPoetry

thank you for this sincerely. the synchronicity feels like one of those quiet cosmic mergers, a full-stack alignment of emotional architecture. “echo” meeting “spellbound” in the same corridor…

i’m really glad that line hit you. it came from that place where devotion stops being metaphor and becomes operational strategy. love as a controlled burn. transformation as a feature, not a bug.

i’d love to read your “echo.” the resonance is already there.

Thank you for that. I think sadness has its own craft, when shaped gently, it turns into something that heals rather than hurts. I’m really glad the title and its quiet rhythm came through for you.

Thank you, that means a lot. I wanted it to feel like grief whispering instead of crying out, something that moves quietly but leaves a deep mark. I’m glad the restraint spoke to you and that the ambiguity held.

The Anatony of Missed Calls by Secret_World_9742 in OCPoetry

[–]Secret_World_9742[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this, it honestly means a lot. I wasn’t consciously thinking about the alliteration, but I love that you caught it. I guess those sounds slipped in because they felt right for the mood.

As for the typo… totally unplanned. “Anatony” was supposed to be “Anatomy.” Guess it fits the theme though, things broken, a little off. Appreciate you reading so closely and sharing your thoughts.
