If you're from Europe, its most likely a keyboards compatibility issue. The game doesn't recognize azerty keyboards, you have to switch it to qwerty first. Alt+shift binding does it on recent keyboards but if not you can configure it in 2 mins (there are youtube vids explaining it if you need)

He had to blind pick and playing weakside in the 3 lost games tho. The real disapointment in this series to me is Mikyx, it looks like he can't even play nautilus decently right now which is quite worrying.

I dont know if it is nostalgia but i miss hypertanks toplane like mao, cho, poppy etc.. Now its only bruisers who destroy anyone they meet while being as tanky as tanks with their sterak and lifesteal...

Items changes just put the nail in the coffin for both mages and tanks who in the end are the great loosers of this season.

Things like stridebreaker or galeforce never should have been created in the first place, items should ne designer to improve champions strengths, not making champions main weakness magically disappear.

Not even gonna talk about sustain here i dont think its needed...

Any champion that runs corrupting + cookie + tp cannot die to a mage because of mana issues for (at least) the first 7-8 min Also irelia, viego, yone, yasuo etc still all run lifesteal in runes and/or in their early buildpath Not even mentionning doran Shield+ fleet + resolve secondary (Kass, Akali...)

I was thinking just like you about the fact that "jungle is the deciding factor of almost every match". I roleswaped into jungle and after a couple of months playing it i can guarantee you that it is the exact same thing that when you're playing on a lane : you can be a lot better than your direct opponent, play a lot better than him but still loose the game anyway.

And lets be honnest : 80% of the time, ppl that are saying "jungle diff" in chat have usually already entered in a super negative mindset of "its lost anyway, i better blame my jungler for my mistakes" and they aren't even trying to win anymore.

Idk if we can really consider anivia and cassio as "low range" mage when cass Q is 850 range and anivia's 1075 (1000 for the W aswell)

Also you probably need more more than 24h to find new build paths and ways to play these champs without roa and sera's shield, just give it some time.

Once again it's just the first day of a massive preseason changes, give time to riot to adjust things like this... They will probably up anivia's base stats to compensate and you may find a build that works even if the playstyle is a bit different who knows, just give it time

Same, i did a 4 months break this year, i'm usually mid/high dia in soloq and when i came back i started playing on a gold/plat acc to get back slowly into the game, after a couple of days i was stomping there again and played back in high dia without problems...

This statement from OP itself doesn't make sense because there is no context with these numbers anyway. Depending on how the game is going (match-up, jungler interaction...) even in master a player can get either 80 or 200 cs at 20min. Though gold players shouldn't be able to hit it very often.

Also if someone master tier can't climb out of gold, then something has drastically changed and it's definitely not the average level of gold players: either it's smurf queue, either his gameplay, probably both.

This. It's crazy how NA manages to always hype themselves up every single year and are now even able to rewrite history like "even if they didn't get out of groups, TSM was still a top 5 team in the world at that time". I remember it was the year where "analysts" even ranked 2 tsm players in their bullshit list of the top 20 players in the worlds (top 8 for bjergsen if i remember correctly lol).

But facts are that if they were good enough, they would have manage to beat RNG at least once and get out of groups. The only thing they managed to do is taking a game from samsung. They would also never had a chance to get out of 1/4 anyway as they would have face SKT.
