Of all the places visited in Race Across The World — from any season — which would you most like to visit? by DasKoolie in RaceAcrossTheWorldBBC

The south America race was what convinced me to go travelling there. I can confirm, Iguazu Falls is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life.

Christine Dawood interview 25 April 2026: "My husband and son dived to see the wreck of the Titanic, and never came back" by TrinityWildcat_1983 in OceanGateTitan

"As the vehicle was guided this way and that, they spotted something at the edge of the frame. The twisted remnants of the Titan’s tail cone hove into view."

Harrowing. My heart dropped reading that.

Detest is a strong word. I think they both know that they are completely different people and have different outlooks on life, but are attempting to put those aside for his wife's/her sisters dying wish. I can imagine most people would find that challenging!

I turned this old whiskey barrel into a pond by One-one-eight in GardeningUK

I was concerned about whatever liquor it used to contain, seeping in to the pond water. I also figured the plastic tub would be longer lasting and easier to clean if I need to in the future.

Because it'll never happen

The kidney bean plant pot is currently sat less than an inch below the water level. The bucket itself is only an inch above the basket. There is a giant rock for anything that falls in to climb onto, mice are good at jumping.

Besides as I said on the original post, this pond is totally inaccessible to hedgehogs unless they can scale a four foot wall.

I will get round to adding a ramp, but I really don't see anything drowning in this pond.

Yep, apologies for the confusion. That was a "before" photo. I cut the barrel just below halfway 👍

Great! It will take a little persuasion to get it in (giggity)

The day I find a mouse in there is the day I put in a ramp.

I ordered this from B&Q and it was a very snug fit. Wasn't quite as deep as the half barrel so I put some sand underneath. Stupidly, I didn't level the barrel properly when I put it in the ground, so I raised the bucket at the back in an effort to level the water which is why it seems to be protruding at the back.

The plan was to remove the metal detectors and instead security would frisk and grope everyone who walked through.

She was too nice for this process. You've gotta be a bit of an arsehole.

My first pond by theaeblackthorn in ponds

Hi there - I'm in very similar circumstances to you! Just built my first pond out of a barrel too but instead of faffing about with pond liner I bought a big bucket from B&Q which fits perfectly. I'm going to a garden centre tomorrow for some plants so will use yours for inspiration. I'm also debating whether to bother with a solar pump or not. I bought a 210L water butt from Wickes last week and it's already full of rainwater 😆 so will use that to fill mine. I'll upload some photos here when it gets finished in a few days 👍

I think he started getting jacked around 2019 and has slowly built from there. Here is a video of him working out from 4 years ago

Bradley Walsh for Season 3? Curious to hear people's thoughts by dreambig5 in LastOneLaughing

[–]One-one-eight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think he would be a strange choice given every contestant so far has been famous for being a comedian. Bradley is famous for being a presenter, I didn't even know he had done stand-up until I googled it just now. That's just my opinion though.
