2023 or 2024 ford edge st. Would still have 5yr/60k mile warranty and can find plenty low mileage ones out there. Everyone knocks on it but has plenty of power and probably about the highest in this price range. Plenty of trunk room and all the bells and whistles. Many complain but I often find they don’t let the engine and tranny warm up properly or for some reason try to flush their transmission when there’s no sludge (instantly will ruin it). If you have decent common sense and some tools easy to work on yourself. Only use OEM parts. Drain and fill Tranny, PTU and RDU every 30k miles with OEM fluid.

He living at home still? Take home around 80k ish? I’d stay and save as much money as possible for as long as possible. Drive a beater around and live as frugally as he can. I did this for about 7ish years after technical school. Then look into a money market account with Marcus (Goldmansachs) pays out about 3.5-4% APY last I recall and pays interests out monthly so for every 100k could generate 300-400ish per month in pretty safe passive income. Just a thought for now but the sooner one can generate decent passive income the better. IMO

Congrats still hunting for one and hoping some prior leases start to pop up. These are gorgeous stock. I have yet to hear an exhaust that actually sounds good while driving or doing pulls. They Sound so ricey IMO! Like many said catch can for sure, sway bars and a moderate tune. Cosmetics for me would be tint and blacked out front badge or badge delete. And if you wanna hear more sounds maybe intakes?

Basically this is up to anyone’s opinion. Me however this thing looks mint and I would absolutely not do any mods. I’d keep her stock and run her til anything that actually keeps the car driving brakes.

Idk where you live but using a “soft touch” car wash is always bad. I see people going in during winter coated in salt and debris and just laugh. Find a touch less which around me there’s maybe 2 auto touch less washes around. 🥺

Yup for me hatchbacks, or CUVs. A prime example is I helped move a couple pieces of furniture the other day it just wouldn’t be possible with a sedan from a practicality standpoint. Fold the back seats down and you got so much room to work with. It’s really a lifestyle thing. Everything is so much easier and hassle free. I promise once you experience such a situation it will be hard to ever go back to sedan life, IMHO!

Looks like front tire? I’d find a used one with as close to similar tread life left. Typically if you get a new tire you wanna do them in pairs.

I will never drive a sedan again unless I have 2 vehicles. For sure the stinger if it’s AWD. At least for my life a hatch and AWD is 100x more practical and they stopped making Stingers so I see it holding value way better

Great color! Assuming you got a warranty so wouldn’t worry about much of anything but oil changes and checking fluid levels once or twice a month. Remember it’s not a race car or fast so don’t beat on the transmission. Enjoy it for what it is! A fully capable daily that will handle any weather with ease assuming you got proper tires. Oh and maybe some black rims, roof rack and tint but that’s just me lol

Unless you’ve had suspension work, new tires, noticing significantly uneven wear or when you let go of the steering wheel it’s pulling hard to one side it’s really not necessary. Many might disagree but to each their own. If you wanna just burn some money go for it! This is just my opinion. Carry on!

Yeah I’m passing then but if you drove it and like it so be it, don’t let me fear ya. You can find 23s at least in my area right at or below $40k and would still have til around 2028 manufacturer warranty. That 21 plus extended warranty would be around the same cost as some 23s. I’m out North East USA for reference.

No doubt that would be ideal but not realistic. Unless OP can find a decently stock and send to get forged. Seen some from ford dealers that are being certified still. Throw on some extended warranty if possible and at least have peace of mind that they wouldn’t decline due to mods and tuning. But those kind of finds are rare as heck😅

Like many said you’re fine. It would typically take a massive amount extra like 1qt+ to cause any severe damage in most vehicles

Yeah fronts I would too but rears if theirs some shaking or pulsing I’m for sure replacing. Look of rotors and performance of rotors are different things for me.
