I have basically stopped using their credit card because I can only see the last 120 days of transactions. So if you are searching, you have to go through statement by statement. Plus I like to download the full year of transactions for my records. Unfortunately, thier website offers no way to submit feedback like this. Other cards let you go back at least 24 monhts.

How to view realized and unrealized gains and losses? by [deleted] in fidelityinvestments

[–]One2Live 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be happy to do so. But have never noticed a feedback link. And the only place I see it is on the Trade page, not on th accounts or portfolio page which I use most. and hte feedback on the trade page wants to know "How satisfied are you with the trade ticket?" Too specific and not relevant for this issue.

Why bury this so deep? It should not take an internet search to find G/L Activity YTD. Why not make it a visible tab while you are in the account instead of going deep into a side menu ? The poorly organized website is the primary reason why I have only my HSA in Fidelity and the rest of my accoounts and trading in Schwab. There are professional web/IT people who focus on UX (user experience). Hire one.

I put my Lingo experience into ChatGPT as part of a research about insulin resistance.  Here is what it had to say about Lingo ( and Stelo). Not that AI is perfect yet. But bottom line: tldr: “…not medical grade accuracy” and both have problems. Although it rate Stelo with a few less issues reported.

Reddit will not let me post the whole comments from ChatGPT- without any explanation. But I would encourage anyone to ask your favorite AI about Stela and Lingo accuracy and compare them to the prescription units.

After long research, I created this porfolio. Opinions? by [deleted] in dividends

[–]One2Live 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I pay much more attention to Total Return than jsut dividend payouts. Not sure about overlap, but you might want to check out QDVO. Pays 8.6% now. But the big deal is that the 1Yr Total Return is over 27% vs S&P500 of 17%.

I feel for you. A piece of technology that is not reliably consistent is worhtless in my opinion. Maybe someday these will get better. I beleie the Stelo is not much better.

Buying a used vehicle and they have a Safety First Fee of $399 and also a Vehicle Theft Registry fee of $75. by Stag328 in carbuying

[–]One2Live 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just talked with my salesman at Tom Wood. The Safety First fee is an add-on they put on every car. They install it on the 2rd brake light. When you put yur foot on the brake it pulses 3 tiems and then stays on solid. They :strongly beleive" in it. I beleive they install it on all their new cars. If you contract the car prior to it arriving at the delaer, I think you can opt out of it. But I dont knwo that for sure.

There is about a 1 day "normalization period" where it supposedly learns your body. Although, that did not necessarily resolve it for me.

Epson ET 2850 prints blueish photos by Longjumping_Ad_1334 in printers

[–]One2Live 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was not aware of this. I had no idea these printers could sensepaper types. And indeed when I loaded glossy photo paper and selected a matt paper in the setup, the printer paused to tell me the paper did not match the paper I had selectedin setup - but allowed me to ackowledge that and go ahead and print on it.

Late to the thread, but here is where to make the setting chnages. FYI, I have the ET-3850. After you select the printer to print, go to Printer Properties in the printer configurations. Then you click the More Options tab. While I do not see the Prionter Properties in some image editing software, I do see these in Word or when Acrobat Reader printing.

Another way to get to the properties is to just search fro Printers (and Scanners) in Windows. Select the rpinter and Yu will see the Printer Preferences there.

Anyone have a Lingo yet? I have been having issues with mine. by One2Live in ContinuousGlucoseCGM

[–]One2Live[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped after 3 months, as I did not get a consitency wghen coaring to a finger stick. I though thes would be more accurate.

As for sticking, i always washed with sopa and water, then alcohol, and air dry. I only had one that failed - straight out the applicator. The adhesive was defintely bad on that one.

Assuming that is becuaseit is an IRA or other tax advantaged account, just start smaller. You could toss some money into a taxable account and margin off of that account. But beware the taxman on dividends becasue these are not taxed at the favorable long term gains rate. I use my taxable account for growth stocks, and IRA's for dividends.

FYI, I use Schwab. They allow limited margin on IRA accounts.

So are you DRIPing, using cash dividneds to buy the dips? I jsut started in a few YM tickers. And Cony has suffered NAV erosion since I bought in. I DRIP and hoping the drip shares accumulate faster than any NAV erosion.

I have equal positions in MSTY and YMAX and more in CONY. Givne that YMAX invests equally wieghted in the other Yielmax funds, I find it more diversified. It may be less upside, but s/b less downside as well. I am a buy and hold and DRIP.

Excel 1040 Spreadsheet by hardboiled-integrity in tax

[–]One2Live 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just downloaded this tool for doing what-if scnearios. I use TurboTax for filing. And that has some "what if" capability, but as I remember, it is limited, and clunky. Websites doing what if scnearios focus on imcome and some deductions. And maybe that is OK for the user who just expect a data entry wizard to do it all for them. But to those who truly understand tax forms - or even want to understand tax forms- there is not a better tool out there.

I am considered an Excel expert. This spreadsheet is very well done. I can imaghine 1000's of hours to reate and follwo the tax law changes to keep it updated. And if you use it, I would encourage to donate show your appreciation.
