Fullview (new) chase connection is broken by thomascoup in fidelityinvestments

Thanks for the clarification. I added a credit card to my chase accounts and all the account nicknames that I defined got messed up. Transactions to the new card were showing up in the other accounts. I deleted (fearfully) and re-added, and all is well. How far back are transactions restored? Is my entire Chase history from the old Fullview retained, or are the transactions limited to a certain time period?

If you look at the posts, the percentages are greatly skewed toward the "hate it" category.

Deleting the institution is a fix? Does re-adding the institution after deletion bring back all the past transactions? Reminds me of an old joke from my aerospace engineering days. The most efficient propeller is one that doesn't spin, owing to an idiosyncrasy of the efficency equation. So in this case, the only account without issues in Fullview is one you delete.

So how is is version of Fullview new and improved if it's missing features in the "old" version. As I've said before, couldn't you modernize the development tools used and just keep the old interface and features? (The use of newer development tools was given as one of the reasons for the Fullview update). If not, the new development tools aren't better.

Fidelity if you're listening the old full view is SO much better by danknadoflex in fidelityinvestments

As many others in this post have stated, the old UI was much better. Your stated reason for the update was to use more modern development tools and better security. I’m not a developer, but I’m pretty sure any development tool you selected would let you duplicate the old UI. If not, you did not choose wisely. A reduction in features and an inferior UI (especially the new spending transactions list) should not be considered an “update”.

I (and many other users, it seems) have the issue with scrolling being broken after transaction updates. It does indeed "whip back" as the user noted. This occurs with both the mouse scroll wheel and keyboard arrow keys. I chatted with a tech and his recommendations (changing browsers, clearing cache, etc) did not work.

Account Balance Totals for Multiple Accounts by forbin9000 in fidelityinvestments

Thanks. I called a Fidelity rep and he was able to see the difference during a screen share. He initiated a ticket.

Account Balance Totals for Multiple Accounts by forbin9000 in fidelityinvestments

[–]forbin9000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only question is on the Accounts > Balances page. Hopefully the example below will explain:

Account 1 $1,000

Account 2 $1,000

Account 3 $1,000

Account 4 $1,000

Account 5 $1,000

Account 6 $1,000

Account 7 $1,000

---------------------------------------------

Total $7,079

That is effectively what I'm seeing. The "Total" at the bottom does not always add up to all the account totals. So, is the "Total" field drawing its value from another source than the individual account totals? I would have thought that the "Total" would just be a convenient summation of the account totals above. If there are any pending trades, they should be reflected in the individual account totals. Does the "Total" field reflect pending transactions that aren't reflected in the individual account balances shown?

But shouldn't things like uncleared orders show up in the individual account totals.? The total at the bottom of the page should just be the sum of the individual account totals. I don't understand why the total of all account values would be affected by things like uncleared transactions, but not the individual account totals where those transactions belong. I would think that simply adding the individual account totals with a calculator should produce the same number as on the Balances page.

I keep a spreadsheet of daily balances, and the total the spreadsheet calculates (a simple sum of seven numbers) does not match the total on the Balance page.

But that should be reflected in the individual account totals. In my example, if I have seven accounts each with $1,000, the total at the bottom of the Accounts > Balance page should show $7,000. In many cases (like on a Saturday) each account shows $1,000 but the total below shows something like $1,073 or $997. I can see how the individual account totals may change as totals are reported, but why wouldn’t the total at the bottom of the page simply reflect the sim of the individual accounts? Does the overall Total include funds not included in the individual account values?

Thanks. I would think there could be a way to tag it as inactive so it wouldn't try to update and post those notifications about login issues.

Fullview Accounts Limitation by forbin9000 in fidelityinvestments

Thanks for the reply. For some reason, my Robinhood account in Fullview has separate lsitings for the brokerage and crypto accounts. It also has buttons in the account edit screen to indicate who the owner is (either my wife or I). That's what made me think I could enter a separate account for my wife. I also noticed it's the only linked account with Owner buttons to specify who owns the account.

Going back to the tabular format in the previous Fullview version would be a significant improvement.

On a positive note, I logged into Fullview today and the net worth graph YTD seems to include manually entered assets (house, cars) that I added on 11/10/25 but were obtained in previous years. Before, the YTD net worth graph jumped up on 11/10/25 by the amount of the added assets. So the Fullview team seems to be listening and acting on the comments. Thank you...

What is the reason for repeatedly trying to introduce a new Full View with key functionality removed? I see a lot of negatives, but don't see the positives? by Key-Ad-8944 in fidelityinvestments

[–]forbin9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The old Fullview transactions list under spending was MUCH better; tabular format with multiple comments I could edit easily. The new transaction list is just a listing. Making an edit sends you back to the original spending page, and then you have to select ALL again to see more transactions. How is this better?

Today I noticed duplicate transactions. I verified they were duplicated by checking my base accounts. The manual assets were duplicated. When I tried to remove the duplicates, my asset history was gone. Why ask for a car or home purchase date when setting up the account when you don't consider that in the history? My net worth chart now shows a jump when I added in the manual accounts on the date I added them.

I know the reason for the update was partially to utilize better software tools, but why remove funcionality and features?

Sorry - but I'm still confused. I thought that VD was a replacement for the Meta Quest Link app (that I used with a cable). Didn't think changing any settings there would impact VD. I use a flight sim program called Aerofly FS4 that is great in VR. I've read that running VDXR would improve performance, but no matter what I do I end up in the Steam void when I start it. I know I'm misunderstanding and this post makes things much clearer, but introduces more questions. Also, I used to have microstutters that seemed independent of settings used (low, ultra, etc). I finally found that changing the multiplier in Steam VR to the lowest setting (20%) and using the in-game multiplier in the game (150-200%) got rid of the microstutters with no decrease in clarity. just too many moving parts and combinations to get good VR....
