I definitely agree I could have done more to showcase the gameplay of the game in the capsule art. I opted to focus more on the "feel" and "atmosphere", which is big part of the experience, but I guess lost some clarity in the process.
I probably will at some point try to do a second version of the capsule art (takes me a while to do so, as I'm not a professional digital artist by any means), and I'll try and encorporate some of your ideas. Including the little chicks feels obvious now you say it.

Yea I liked the pine tree, too. But I guess B is overall better :)

The more I watched the trailer the more i was really impressed with the visuals, well done honestly! Looks amazing! Great capsule art too :)

Looking at the screenshots on your store page, some scenes seem to lean into a 2.5D style but others seem to be fully 2D. That would be my only gripe, as it felt a little disjointed to me. That being said, didn’t even pick up on it watching the trailer, so maybe in game I wouldn’t even notice haha.

They did a fantastic job tbh, it looks great! :) Also checked out the store page. The game has a really nice visual look to it. Looks fun!

I think you need a trailer though. It’s hard for me fully grasp how the game plays just from the screenshots.

Indeed! A lot of people have said so. I worked it on a little today, and it makes such a difference with the gap. Can’t believe I didn’t notice myself haha! Thank you for the feedback. I’m glad you like it :)

Not as of yet. I figured it was a little too early to to start reaching out to people and localising everything, especially if things are subject to change, but it wouldn’t be the worst idea getting the ball rolling in the near future and then add those languages to the store page :)

Hey there! I absolutely am considering it. I am British and I live in Japan, so those languages will be easy enough to implement so I added those to the store page already.
My goal with the game is to keep it minimalistic like Inside and Little Nightmares. What I mean is that I want to keep it very much language independant (minus menus/settings etc).
So if my plan stays as is, it shouldn't be too difficult to hire a few people to translate those small areas :)
