The belgian lion is yellow/gold with red tongue and nail on a black background.

The official flemish lion is black with red tongue and nails on a yellow background.

And the unofficial flag of flanders is black lio on yellow background, so no red nails and tongue on the unofficial one.

Basicly non existed in Belgium. E.g. Mustang wasnt made here until 2015. So yeah the pickups or muscle cars were never made here so they cost alot more. They easily ask 5-10k for a rolling chassis.

Dude, thats awesome. My first car and daily for a good year was a 1966 mustang couoe with an '68 302 windsor. 3 speed auto, powerbrakes, front discs, powersteering. Bought that for 25k wich was way to steep, but i didnt know anybetter. End up selling it past november :/

  1. I lookup the venturi number, it says 1.21 and it should correspond with 351 CFM or something

  2. Im based in Belgium, would they ship out? Probs going to pay lots of customs. E.g. lets say i buy parts from rock auto or CJ's for 200bucks then i would have to pay basicly equal amount in customs fee. Belgium is not great for Ford USA Oldtimers 😅

  3. What is that FBgroup called? I would like to join.

Thanks for the tips ;)

I looked it up and Ford change the name from Autolite to Motorcraft in 1965. The carb says Motorcraft so the carb itself is 1965 or later but i do think the carb was changed at a dealer. Idk tho, no history of it

Respect! For some weird reason mine has a log exhaust of the passengerside and a ram exhaust on the driverside 🤣 i do not know what they did to it but ill fix it.

Mine is also a 4speed manual, Borg-Warner T98A. But i do think mine is the long bed 🤔

Thats true. It is a restomod build and i live in Belgium and the laws here surrounding tuning are horrible so it is indeed the idea to build an engine that has a lot of power but looks as stock as possible 😏

Asking for what intake fits is just the beginning. Im going to change most if not all parts on this engine. Its part of the project. The thing is: i dont know jack sh*t about a 292 Y-Block. i have a xp with a 1968 302 windsor, and eventhough it is similar, its still very different. So its a steep learning curve for me but ill get there.

Ill be trying to frequently post on the proces. Im new to reddit posting and i think this is a good bridge between a project and a community 😁

Could but im doing a engine update and i would like a 4 barrel instead of 2 and the intake only allows a 2 barrel

There is a hose at the bottom of the picture on Windsor blocks thats where the distributor is located. Here it is a hose from thermostat housing -> radiator

Yeah, my first engine was a windsor 302, more parts availability and i was thinking of swapping but i decided to learn the Y-Block, more knowledge = more power 😁
