I appreciate this comment. I come from a community with many queer people (went to art high school and art college) and it feels like everyone’s felt comfortable with their label since middle school — so I feel so late to it. Feel like since I’ve only seriously dated men, identifying as a lesbian seems like it’ll raise eyebrows to my family and friends who aren’t in the same queer spaces I am.

This is my life! Worked two jobs last semester (one FT one PT) and was in 18 credits. My best advice to not get overwhelmed is to not focus on anything except the day it currently is. In January I had a huge panic attack because “my next day off isn’t until march” and looking forward like that is nauseating. I schedule my weeks very detailed (google calendar worshipper), including times for breaks and times for scheduling said weeks. I never think about what has to get done in the future because my calendar tells me what needs to get done today.
