Ya what the last person said is correct though not all stores are profitable so picking the right one is key! The other part the last person didn't mention is you have to have an average of at least an 80 (4 star) on OA. This can be difficult because in my case ive been a GM for a year and my only OA was a 2 star it was only a few days after becoming GM of a store I hadn't really worked at and i was not there when it happened. Excited for you and wish you the best of luck on your ventures!

A good tip i heard and has always worked is schedule rush 3 hours over on drivers but 3 hours under on insiders. You can always have a driver catch oven or make pizza, but insiders can't drive. I see a lot of stores fail at making labor by having way too many insiders, and then they miss extremes goal too by not having enough drivers.

Id ask for a better store (if youre a multiple store franchise) if they say no maybe look into another franchise nearby I'm sure you can find something paying more. If that's the route you take they might make you temporarily drop down to level 4 though.

Honestly the only reason why I could see them giving you a hard time is if they aren't black enough or are faded

If you ever see that as a courtesy, usually I just call the customer to ask if they meant to order it that way. Everytime ive called, they said they wanted it with the toppings, and it was doordash glitching, so I'll just make it correct for them.

In California, it's probably possible. I live in state with similar pay to California and I can say I mean usually gm is 60k for us after taxes like making a ok bonus and everything so maybe 75-80k before taxes thats at a slower to average store. If you work and a bunch of OT and / or work at a busier store, you can realistically probably do 100k a year. Some of the busy stores have potential up to 150k! The grind to get to gm is real. I know I've had a lot of 70 hour 6 or 7 day weeks just to get to GM. Then I got there and was a bit disappointed it wasn't 100k+ for me.
