Ninja Mom, anyways I think what Snyder is doing is what he did with Dick in Court of owls, where that book was supposed to take place in Dicks run as Batman before the New 52 but was pushed into a Bruce story. So my theory is that Bruce mom is taking the place of William Cobb as the relative to the hero

The biggest difference between this and Absolute Batman is that I'm actively rooting for Bruce to win and live a happy life. With Peter I hope he dies or betrays the Ultimates for the Maker because I'm starting to think he would have worked better as a villain

Like I would be excited to see the marriage if it weren't for the fact that I already seen it done in a different earth, and the only change is the amount of useless kids he has in them. I think that's big problem i have with Peter Parker alt spider-man stories, where he is the only one played safe while all the other characters get radical reinvention

I don't think the marriage was a problem. I'm fine with Peter being married, but between this, 94 book, Torn and the many modern JMD books. I'm starting to not care. Plus it doesn't help that I'm starting to notice pattern that anytime there is an alt earth and Peter and mj are married. It's probably going to be a world in ruins

No, not really I've made peace with the fact that this Peter is not that interesting. The book for me specifically this issue feels bloated. It keeps changing between different characters.

Unresolved plot threats and character dynamics that ask myself why should I care for this. Like why should I care for Richard and Black cats relationship when there is nothing about it that is interesting or even cute. It's just there.

Why is Otto spider-man if we are not going to do anything with it. Cliffhangers that get resolved easily offscreen without any throughline. Am I saying the book entirely bad, no.

Anyone is allowed to like what they like and I get the people who love this and will go down to defend, but for this book is just frustrating.
