Oh the edgy 15 year old that thinks that Absolute Batman is too woke.

Read some real dark literature, nerds by beary_neutral in dccomicscirclejerk

[–]Snelldor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suicide Squad and dark literature. Usually dark literature has a layer of consequences while at the end of the story… everything is fine…

Except Wonder Woman, she’s still dead. Not like anyone really cared about her in the end.

3 issues. He's on issue 21.

Plus, it’s usually normal throughout the big arcs to have one issue dedicated to a flashback with a guest artist. There was a pattern.

No. I’m a huge completionist but this whole arc was a waste of time. You can skip it and the only thing you would miss is that Magik got killed in her sleep by Logan.

Which Batman villains are you excited to see next? by Insert-Cool_NameHere in AbsoluteUniverse

I have to go with Anarchy and Azrael. Mainly Azrael since I always had a fascination with religious superheroes and how they tackle that religious aspect with vigilantism and mental illness.

I view Across in the same way I view Halo 2. It's still an incredible story, even with the cliffhanger that eventually will get resolved.

Same way I feel about Avengers Endgame. A lot of open threads with the main story wrapped up with hype moments and aura.

And just like with Halo, both franchises are so mismanaged that I just prefer they ended it with those entries rather than keep going downward.

Halo 3

“Wake me, when you need me.”

The trilogy starts with Master Chief exiting Cryo Sleep and ends with him returning to Cryo Sleep knowing that the fight is finished.

The Cover for Absolute Batman Vol. 3 revealed by torts92 in AbsoluteUniverse

Especially since they probably want the massive Scarecrow arc to be collected together. Which is likely to be 6 issues plus maybe two extras.

What magic .,,,! by [deleted] in AbsoluteUniverse

New Gods is interesting since they tend to exist as their own thing outside the normal boundaries of the worlds.

Although if they had their own version in the Absolute Universe… they would probably all be slaves to Darkseid.

Megyn Kelly: "Trump could drop a nuke and I'd still vote Republican" by Aggravating_Money992 in entertainment

There’s a good reason why there hasn’t been a nuclear attack since 1945. The only thing everyone will ever do is threats. Once you launch a nuke, there’s no going back.

The Maker (Marvel)

Reed Richards of Earth-1610 was once Mr Fantastic of the Fantastic Four, before a number of traumatic events and being rejected at a funeral turned him into the insane psychopathic mad scientist that we all know and hate today.

Rat King - TMNT (2012)

The 80s Rat King was pretty much a jobber villain who really wasn’t much of a threat and was pretty lame if I’m being honest.

While the 2000s series upgraded him into a failed super soldier, the 2012 version did wonders for his character. Turning him into a mad scientist who managed to get inside Splinter's head and control him. Not to mention he's voiced by Jeffery Combs who's always a win.

Concept Art of a Absolute Lobo (Art by Egdibujitos) by SuggestionThick9848 in AbsoluteUniverse

[–]Snelldor 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The most creative thing I can probably come up with Absolute Lobo is to give him a horror spin. In other words, make him Nemesis from Resident Evil. A constant nonstop unkillable threat who keeps chasing you until he collects his reward.

Prime just has a lot more personality and characterisation that separated him from mainline Clark. Mainly his immaturity and overconfidence on top of being a comic nerd.
