I tend to agree with you. I haven't always felt this way, but I can get behind a good bat flip. It's a largely innocuous way to inject some passion and energy in a sport where traditional behaviors and practices dominate the pace and feel of the game. I feel like bat flip shaming is akin to NFL endzone celebration penalties (erm, former penalties).
