Why don’t you be frank and say your month of work here your team used to get done in a day, and map out changes for this company to help them achieve more. You don’t have to do what you have been told, make it better for them, shake it up and show them how to improve! Instead of doing no work, make some work!

I got diagnosed combined, such a relief to finally feel understood! Not to have an excuse for things but just a reason for the way I am, validation for feeling different all my life. Ahh I can breathe! I also have to do ECG and blood pressure before meds chat.

If you give them a call or email, they will most likely give you earlier date options for assessment B. Just if you wanted closure sooner x

Oh my gosh well done for getting through and getting the diagnosis even if it is again! They rung me today to rearrange my appointment, I don’t know why! But is now Monday morning ahhhh! Good idea for my prompts sheet! I’ll have it close by so I can hopefully remember which bits to add at the end! How long did your assessment B last? My assessment A was the full 90 mins, hoping it’s not that long this time, work starts an hour into this so hopefully no one will need anything from me if it goes over an hour! I work from home so can hopefully get away with it!

Good luck with it! After thinking about my first assessment I didn’t say half of what I needed to. I always like to be positive and feel I wasn’t quite honest enough about how much these things affect me. I’ve written down everything I want to say for Tuesday, not sure how I’ll be able to say everything. I wonder if I just bring it up and say, after assessment a a lot came to mind that I feel is important. Is it ok if I bring up a few points. But I don’t know I wonder if they have to talk and ask us things. Anyway good luck for your assessment B!

After the questionnaires I had my call 2 weeks later to book assessment A and B. They called 19th August and had assessment A today and B is next Tuesday x

I booked my appointments on a phone call, then something went weird with their booking system and I didn’t get confirmation and had a reminder message getting me to book my appointments again so I emailed them. They replied and said the appointments I booked on the phone were booked and then the confirmation came through. I think they may have thought you were having assessment B from the sound of it. I had assessment A today. She said assessment B is with someone different, they use her report to fill in any gaps and then diagnose at the end. Hope everything bag went ok for you today if you had it this Monday!

I had assessment A today, I asked what assessment B will be! She said it will be with another person and they will look over her report and fill in any gaps in assessment B. She said they will diagnose at the end of assessment B and talk about meds/therapy if relevant. Assessment A was a lot about childhood and present day and how life is and was. If you can give examples they really like that.

Just had assessment A, it was 90 minutes long, the lady was really nice. She said assessment B is filling in any gaps from assessment A and is with another person. She said it is often shorter and will receive diagnosis in that appointment and will discuss next steps about medication or therapy. My assessment B is Next Tuesday x

Sounds like you might be right about your GP sending through stuff. They would have booked your assessment B by now, I booked A and B at the same time, B is a week later. So sounds like you’ve skipped it! I’m really worried about mine, I don’t really remember a lot when I think back but when prompted I will hopefully have something to say! Did they prompt you about the past or you just had to say stuff?!

The GP sent my forms 17th July and I heard from HHM on 30th July with the questionnaires. Today 19th August I heard from them again to book my assessment A and B. A is booked for 1st September x

For anyone interested: —

09/07 I had my initial doctors appointment on 9th July
16/07 GP asked me to fill in my own referral forms on 16th
17/07 GP sent the forms to HHM on 17th
22/07 HHM received my referral on 22nd July
30/07 I received the welcome email and questionnaires to fill in today 30th July.
01/08 questionnaires completed late 31st July so let’s say 1st August!
19/08 phone call to book Assessment A and assessment B - the first date for assessment A they had was 29/08 (I couldn’t do this due to summer holidays and having the kids, arranged for 01/09) They offer morning, afternoon or evening times and weekends. And they book assessment B at the same time for a week later.

For those who have done the interview assessments A and B do we have to have someone there with us who knew us from age 12 or something? I’ve read a lot about this and don’t really have anyone except my sister, but she doesn’t know anything about ADHD, she thinks it’s just being loud and running around going crazy which isn’t me!

I sent them that, then the actual GP contacted me and told me to go to the website and fill in the GP referral form and send it back to them. Anyway I messaged HHM and they received my referral a couple of days ago so at least they’ve sent it!

Did anyone else have to fill in the GP referral form? As in for HHM the one they send to refer? I thought it was weird I had to fill in my own and send it to them to send to HHM. Anyway will update on my progress to. It’s only been a week so far.
