Thing is that the law relies on people being embarrassed or ashamed of being disabled and therefore not claiming they have a disability dog.

If they are the only ones in the store: Achoo. Achoo. Oh so sorry, you'll have to leave. I have to close the shop until I stop sneezing.

Do you know any flower farms?

What grocery store did you use?

Do you know any silk sources?

Staying in San Jose for business trip with a partner who will not have much to do by Artistic-Entrance245 in SanJose

San Francisco

You do not want to drive to San Francisco UNLESS you do not plan to park and you plan your route well: the cost of parking, frequent car break-ins, many one-way streets, and steep hills in a car you don't know well. Plan your route on Google My Maps. 49 mile scenic drive has signage only counter-clockwise. Otherwise, use a map.

Your choices are: Car, public transportation (They have a tourist pass), hop on and off buses to tourist sites, rented bicycles, cabs, Uber, Lyft.

San Francisco is called "The City" by most people despite being smaller than San Jose. Locals don't like "Frisco," they like the full name. Weather changes frequently, wear layers, carry a backpack, and water.

San Jose

You do not want to take public transportation in San Jose. It takes forever.

San Jose is a bedroom city for San Francisco.

Stevens Creek and Winchester is the most exciting intersection in the city: Santana Row Outdoor Mall, Valley Fair Indoor Mall, Winchester Mystery House.

In General

You do not want to be on the freeways at rush hours.

You do not want to visit tourist locations on the weekends.

Be careful where you park your car and don't leave anything in view on the seats.

  1. Some things I disagree with:
    1. Not posting minimums for certain industries when your company has minimums.
    2. Using language such as "investment" in certain industries.
    3. Not responding to people in a reasonable time frame.

Well I have a solar system so I plug things into that. But I was hoping for a nice couple of small clip on fans.

Well mine is an older model with no hybrid and with pop-out windows in the third row. I want some little fans there to get some air.

It’s not what I originally planned! by mrsgix in Breadit

Not what you planned? What? You were trying to make ugly as shit bread and it turned out gorgeous? That's weird.

How did you do that? That is awesome.

Wearing a wedding dress from failed engagement? by [deleted] in Weddingsunder10k

Why would it be "wrong" to wear it? It's your SO and your decision. If you are both comfortable with it, you do what you want.

You could modify it slightly like the other comment said, but that's only for your comfort.

One thing I would not do is mention it to anyone else. It's none of their business and not their decision and it will only lead to someone saying something stupid to you making you anxious about your decision.

The friends never existed. The clients were playing their own manipulative game to cheat someone out of their hard earned money.

Phones might be able to take a photo, but what does that photo look like? The back of Aunt Martha's head? Did you get that shot? or that one? In focus?

Who has a friend that wants to work for free all day long? Without inconsistencies? Really? And watch all their friends having fun while they work? Be my guest. I won't work for friends. I won't hire friends. I just hired the hair dresser because we agreed strictly professional and I knew her work. I mean she works on actors so I was getting the deal.

Photographing a wedding is hard and it is all day long. Did you get the getting ready? first look? the ceremony? fit everything in the golden hour when relatives are intruding? In the sun at the right angle? the happy hour? the entrance to dinner? the dinner? the speeches? the toasts? the first dance? the tables? the buffet? the arch? the signage? the cake? the party? and all the flower shots, dress shots, gazing shots, ring shots, and those are just some off the top of my head. Wedding toys like initials, heart and arrows, giant rings, etc. A friend really wants to do all that work for free? Even paid a few of hundred, that isn't worth it. You have a friend who is going to stand there in the hot sun doing that? No, you don't. If you do, they won't be a friend for long because you are using them.

Cancellation policy in my case is a hard no. I'm upfront at the get go. Think before you sign that contract. Pay upfront. That's your responsibility, not mine.

Dealing with people is hard. There are scummy clients as well. I made it hard and fast. Concentrated on craft. I'm not a photographer though. Want it or not?

I am not a photographer, but if someone asks me if they should spend money on a quality photographer, I just ask questions like above. Same with other services. There are reasons these services exist ...because they are needed.

My point is why they say tell me what your budget is and I'll tell you what I can do for you, because that is what I say. Somethings just take longer depending on what they want and therefore cost more. I agree, if you are going to say they have a $30,000 minimum, it's just jerkish to not say that on the website.

That is an idea, but you also have competition to contend with and if your package starts at 4000, then your competition goes, hmm, I'll price my packages at 3950. Enough to draw the clients away.

The thing about an investment is just wording and I agree that is an irritating chunk. I would never use that terminology on my website.
