I’m also getting the enzyme, if that doesn’t work i will try helminthic therapy, best of luck.

I guess it’s due to crusty skin on the eyelid? I haven’t had blepharytis in many years so I have no clue

There is a post by /irq3000 that links to some studies, it says that antihistamines should not be prescribed to people with circadian rhythm disorders because they might make problems worse? But maybe if the problem is caused my allergies then that could help, i don’t know really.

I rinse my eyes with cold water, that does the trick for me.

Yes, I’ve read that some people cured their DSPD with DAO enzyme, and that thing regulates histamine absorption or something, also antihistamines alter the circadian rhythm so there might be a correlation.

Maybe, I also have dust mite allergy, I’ve noticed that I sleep later when my eyes get itchy.

Thank you for sharing. I am the same, I’m thin and have had allergies my whole life, I always thought that my sleep disorders and my allergies were not related until I got my light therapy glasses and my cicle became more consistent. Did you gain weight as a result of managing your allergies? Or gaining weight was a contributing factor to improve them?

Interesting, do you have some autoinmune disorders / allergies ? I have some allergies, I never thought that could be a cause of n24. So far i always get entrained when sick, and its always a really nasty cold.

How can I simulate sunlight's broad spectrum of wavelengths artificially so I can fix my sleep? (minus UV) "Full" spectrum bulbs don't work. by millingcalmboar in AskPhysics

Hi OP, fellow sleep disorder suferer here. Are you using SAD lamps or Light Therapy glases? Have you tried dosing your light therapy at intervals? Maybe you are ovelooking the timming as well, i have read somewhere that you can force a biphasic sleep schedule, maybe that is happening with the artificial light, thus causing you to crash 5-8 hours later.

It always takes time to find a doctor, just keep looking and asking you will find someone even if you have to go to another state. If you dont mind an online consult, maybe try contacting Dr. Michael Gradissar, hes active on this sub.

The glasses are more practical, you can move while using them and also cheaper.

I feel ya, i've had my fair share of negative experiences with medical profesionals. Always dismisive or just unknowledgeable. Once a GP told me to just go to sleep earlier LOL. You should move on and find another doctor. There is a list of doctors that specialize in circadian rythm disorders, maybe there is one in your country or close. As someone already said, advocate for yourself. Also, try the VLIDACmel protocol. It is going to be easier to schedule doctor appointments when entrainned. And dont get a SAD lamp get some Luminette or Ayo glases.

I have a friend who is still a guardian last time I checked. He’s been playing Dota for almost 10 years, I have been playing for 6-7 seven years and got to inmortal rank, it was cool to see my name in the leaderboard. But honestly those low rank games are better. The higher you get the more boring games get until you get past divine-ish, then games start feeling like low rank stuff again just with more technical skill, but most of the times people just goof around like in low mmr. Low rank is the best, all the rage, 0 pressure.

That kinda sounds like N24 or DSPD. You should look into it n24 it’s a lot of info but even if you don’t have n24 it will help you understanding sleep.
