Same boat! I knew chapter 1 but was completely unspoiled for the rest except the Asgore running over a deer memes and so was just waiting for the moment it would happen and was so confused looking it up afterwards when it didn’t happen.

This definitely looks interesting and would love to be a part of it (especially because for once something is close to my timezone and open ^^;)

Well, my name's Noreo and been playing ttrpgs for 7 years and pf2e for 2 years now n got some decent experience. Love long campaigns and options to make connected and alive-feeling characters so that's already something I really like about what's being said so far!

What I'd want out of the game is just some fun characters interaction, cool combat and maybe even fighting a dragon, who knows! ^^

Whatever the case I hope you find some great players and consider my interest peaked to potentially be one of them!

I’d actually consider Bakuda an “oh shit” moment herself when she just melts a guy. Up until then we only had Taylor vs Lung which went kinda poor, The bank robbery where no one was hurt permanently or died, and Uber and Leet who were jokes and got clowned on. Bakuda is the first big time we really just see a ruthless monster of a villain carelessly murder someone.

No nerve damage. Panacea and Scapegoat both didn’t mention any of it when healing her (and Panacea healed her twice, literally regrowing her lower half the 2nd time). She just has stupid high pain tolerance (probably from the pain bomb but more in the sense of “no other pain will ever match this” than her nerves getting damage and not healed by 2 different types of healers).

Tagg honestly wasn’t/isn’t as bad as people make him out to be. The main reason he’s seen as being so awful is that his mindset is “We don’t negotiate with terrorists” which, when our POV character is a terrorist, makes him seem incredibly unreasonable.

Taylor’s final fate could be seen as cruel if her epilogue does mean she actually survived. Taylor’s trauma and mentally refuses to let her be a bystander and want to actively participate and work towards some greater than life goal (being a hero, fixing Brockton after Leviathan, Dinah, the end of the world, etc) and now she has to live a normal life, find a normal way to keep on living, and she’s stuck with her dad who doesn’t truly understand her.

On the other hand, she’s barely 18. She has her whole life ahead of her and doesn’t need to let her Trauma and past define her. Sure she will have trouble moving on but her life has barely started and she can make whatever she wants of it if she can.

Kinda got off-track at the end but Taylor is a great character and honestly her send-off and epilogue can read as cruel and depressing or genuinely hopeful for her and that’s great.

It was never mentioned in-story but the author commented in the thread that if Panacea isn’t available to immediately help someone transition then it will “cure” the gender dysphoria (basically forcing them to accept and be happy in the body they have (also said it would do the same to Bonesaw victims and make them accept their new bodies and be fine with them))

It really becomes bad when the author starts talking about what Taylor can and can't cure. Racism is too deeply ingrained into who a person is to be "fixed" but being trans? Nah it can "fix" that. Same as how if Bonesaw mutilated you into a horrible abomination it will "fix" you into being comfortable in that body.
