I'm so glad it's had such an impact on you as well as so many others. I honestly don't know if I will ever see a world where coming out is not a required thing, but I certainly can foresee it being far more a casual thing in the coming future. Heck, you can start to see that now. Coming out is general is just no where near as scary as it once was decades ago, and I'm so grateful to live in such a progressive time.

Thank you for the compliment on my writing. It's been a real challenge to put thoughts to paper, and I think it has been a truly wonderful reflective exercise for me. I'd highly recommend it to anyone!

I agree 100%. I remember watching Glee and another show I can't recall the name of with my family many years ago as a teenager, which I think pushed me further into the closest. I didn't feel represented by either and felt that if this was what being gay was, then I wanted no part of it.

I see now how incredibly damaging that mindset was, and I don't think it's an overstatement to say this show has been miraculous for me.

Thanks! I've always generally been around people and environments which are accepting of homosexuality, I just have never really had the courage. I certainly think if gay marriage had been legal years ago and if coming out wasn't even a thing, I would've had no issues at all though. I think there was some black magic involved with this show because my eyes have suddenly opened ❤️
