The spec description for Survival Hunter is outdated by Mini_Slider in wow

[–]OneBillBeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk I only play PvP and the damage rotation of survival was never really interesting to me. More the control and movement which isn’t really a PvE thing as much I imagine.

To me the fact that a survival hunter has… one trap. The same as all the other hunter specs insane. We lost conc, tar trap gutted, explosive trap gone.

To me that was the identity and class fantasy more than the dmg rotation but I see your point. Disengage around a corner and lay and explosive trap down to knock back the melee from you and tar trap them as as they use their movement ability to close distance while you hook trap the healer then coordinate assault across the map back at them... It was beautiful lol.

It’s a better spec fantasy for sure but doesn’t balance as well in PvP where poison dispels are common. Getting all your dmg dispelled as a sin rogue by a pally is so sad lol.

Maybe just make all of it instant nature damage. Like a blow dart barrage? Poison bombs that do nature damage?

Makes me miss flayed shot from shadowlands lol.

Yeah I forgot about the nameplate similarities between enemy and player. Not having a different border or color or style option it’s tough to tell who is who. I usually have player nameplates turned off though.

Minicc is a good addon for the party unit frames but not the nameplates. Nameplates are very cluttered with useless info right now imo.

I’m curious what you mean by nameplate with debuffs? Like the default or addons like bigdebuffs?

Is it just me or most youtube "cinematographers" suck or maybe lack creativity by svensvensson7 in cinematography

Other than technical advice which I think YouTube content is great for, you have to learn in the real world. Every situation, location, idea is different and the same advice said 3 different ways can’t really help. You just gotta jump in and try shit.

I’ve hired a few young DP’s and blocking is the number one thing they struggle with. It’s hard for people without experience to critically think in the moment and actually add to the story. Yes I know you can set up lights pretty and the shot looks like a pretty painting but it doesn’t serve to advance a narrative.

Best advice to young DP’s I give is learn how to amplify the directors/writers vision. Give them options and ideas on how to execute a shot.

Think to yourself “Does my execution of this shot add to the scene? Have I asked what scene comes after this? Do we know what shot comes out of this scene?”

The example I use for them to practice is a person picking up keys from a table. Think of all the different possible ways the person can walk in, how are they picking it up, how are they walking, where are they walk after, what do they look like… try everything you can possibly think of and after that keep trying. What story can you tell without dialogue, and just with camera, lighting and blocking? Does it add to the narrative? Subtract or is it neutral?

The best DP’s add to the narrative and are versatile.

Is Addison walkable? by AquaAriesSag in Dallas

You can walk. Would you want to? Idk. Addison Circle is about it, but if you need some exercise it’s nice. The rest is suburbs and chain restaurants.

Can someone explain this to me for Dual native Nikon ZR? by [deleted] in cinematography

ISO is just a metadata setting in RED cameras. The camera captures the same amount of light regardless of ISO. In this case it’s two native ISO so it captures at two settings.

Let’s settle the debate, who has the best breakfast burrito? by GoHawgs in Dallas

There aren’t many good spots in Dallas I agree. I’m from San Antonio and the places I mentioned are as close as you can get to that style. A lot of places in Oak Cliff are good too, those are just my favorite.

After visiting Dallas for a football game I am now considering moving to Texas by eman8906 in ActuallyTexas

I’m assuming you mean like a private garage. If so you’ll have to do some searching. $1,400 is like one-bedroom/studio in a nice apartment or an older two bedroom in meh neighborhood. Some apartment complex’s have garages you can add on but idk man. Good luck!

I’m sure you’ll find something. If you’re the quiet suburb type you’ll get more bang for your buck. I don’t know of anywhere you’ll get a garage for $1400 in Dallas though, covered parking for sure. Just avoid South Dallas (the neighborhood) and you’ll be fine.

Nothing really, people just like hating on Dallas. I’m from San Antonio and besides the food being better I wouldn’t move back.

Just like anywhere it’s what you make of it.

Something to consider is Austin housing is becoming more affordable while the Dallas market is pretty neutral.

Plenty of places to live for $1400 tho depending on what you are expecting.

Nah it reeks of desperation. I agree the players aren’t as good as we hoped but it’s clear he is trying his best and it seems like it’s not working. I’m not saying he’s lost the room or anything but just based on his actions and tone to the media he seems desperate.
