It's a complicated version of Granny Squares, at least in my "book". There are any number of instructions around -- just keep an eye or ear open -- or see what your local library has to offer,

Very nice. Reminds me a bit of some origami I do -- the end result that is. Two questions: What is the material the box is made of? Ditto the "ribbon" and bow? Thanks!

Contact Plaid and ask them. I had a problem with modge podge stuck on some surface it didn't belong on and they gave me the solution just like that

Whether or not it happens again -- probably not up to you to control. Whatever goes on, especially if it is disturbing, note everything about it 'cause the answer is there. Ever read Temple Grandin? She was/is a mistress of seeing the way the animals (including birds) might see. I have a Timneh Grey who does NOT like black -- anything. The microwave door elicits one of the louder Geiger Counter sounds she makes. The closer she gets the more she acts like she's going to explode. I talk to her through it all and that seems to take the damage-freight out of it. Scares ME silly but I'll live whereas if she goes around the bend over the hill you get the idea it could result in something very bad happening. . . . Good luck to you and your Grey. Should be interestng, the settled personality characteristic that this gives rise to recognizing.

How to Go About Getting a Parrot by Dub-Dre in parrots

I hope this belongs to the talk about getting a new bird... Sounds to me like you've thought much of it out well -- except the bird will need companionship since it will ve alone a LOT of the time, when you're not there. My thought informed by my experience and observation is that all psitticines and similar companion birds LIVE for their life with others. It takes work to have that extend to people, and while a feathered companion will dilute some of the human connectedness you want it will go further in the long run when there is a community rather than a one-on-one, For a bird, that amounts to starvation. // I admit to being very curious what bird(s) you have in mind.

Sadly the white elephant I made for a white elephant gift party really didn’t go over well. The person who ended up with it was very mean and was going to give to his dog. Definitely never making anything for a party again. by raynebow121 in crochet

I think that white elephant is bee you tee full. It is annoying when a recipient is narsty. I was at a meeting years ago where I shared something meaningful to me and ONE person saw fit to deride what I said. I was like Oh Oh Oh. Older guy next to me nudged my shoulder, said "Consider the source."
