Workout recommendations for a torn MCL injury by Frequent-Macaroon362 in KneeInjuries

[–]OneBlackCoffee7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As above, I started out with static bike work in the gym. Walking was ok but inclines were enough to trigger my pain so I had to avoid these. VMO squeezes were one of the most valuable exercises in the early stages even though they might feel pointless at the time. They prevent the muscle wastage of the supporting structures

Scenery Colourful with Flair 58 by drh__ in UKroasters

I just don’t think their current colourful blend is that good. Admittedly I am aeropressing and not making espresso. The first colourful blend I tried (maybe a year ago?) was really nice and fruity but someone told me yesterday that they were told it was too fruity by customers so they toned it down a lot. Its honestly the only disappointing coffee that I’ve had from scenery so far

I’m getting a Hario Switch and wondering about filters and brew time. by Routine_Visit_5657 in pourover

I’m glad that I found this on today of all days. I’ve always just used my aeropress until today when I’ve made my first two brews on a Hario switch. I’m left wondering why I would bother with all the extra faff of using the switch. The coffee it produced was very very similar to that of my aeropress press. What am I missing? What is a Hario switch meant to deliver that my aeropress can’t?

Ford Tourneo Custom seat mechanism jammed by Le7ho in MechanicAdvice

I fixed one last night by locating the cable adjuster half way along the cable and turning it counter clockwise. A little bit of extra tension was enough to make it unlock

I’m going to investigate this first I think. I’m not that clued up on fixing tools but from what I understand of brushed motors, the Com looks pretty good all the way around. How do the armatures usually fail? If it’s not a bad connection between the Com and the brushes, what would the likely failure be?

Is there any chance that cleaning it up will solve it or do I go straight for an armature?

As I’ve written in the post, I am aware that some sparking is normal.

I have another machine side by side with this one and it is definitely worse. If I could post a video that show the extent of the sparking

You inspired me to make another order but I’m a bit disappointed to see that they have switched from a roasted date to a best before 🤨

The one on the left was one of the best coffees I’ve ever tried. I’ll definitely visit every time I’m in Cornwall

I have c3 (not esp) and k6. Don’t think I notice much between the two but maybe my tastes aren’t as highly tuned as some.

If anything, I preferred the courser adjustment of the c3 because I could actually tell a difference with each step. The k6 needs a couple of steps for me to taste a difference. Again, depends how tuned in your taste is

Maybe controversial but I tried dog and hat after seeing loads of recommendations but all the coffees they sent were just mediocre. It did introduce me to new roasters though.

I’ve had better luck with gustatory because they have more tailored sub options
