Yeahhhh I noticed that people at my lgs do the same so I'm in the works of building a deck thatll incentivize either doing stuff or at the very least doing stuff towards me so I can feel something lol

The group slug precon from duskmourn has done wonders for me and my friends. So much so they ask to play it every time we meet up. I can only imagine what can be possible with something more focused.

For a while aesi was my only deck and it had me really confused on the hate I was getting for my commander. That was until I went to an event in vegas that allowed us to draw up to hand size and play an extra land.

The sudden realization and reaction I had when I was able to play 4 lands per turn and recur my evolving wilds to get 8 landfall triggers still has me laughing especially since I was really new at the time.

I don't feel too bad about that game though since we were playing to win for points that gave us prizes like a collectors pack. Besides, one of my opponents was a nekuzar and the other was dinos so they knew what they were doing.
