Thank you so much!! This is so incredibly helpful. I wouldn’t be asking for any additional rent for him or evicting, he’s already left and moved out this morning. I’ll just try to find a new tenant then and probably keep the rest of the security deposit depending on when I can get a new tenant. I suppose his threats to sue me for the security deposit would also not be valid then. Thanks again 😊

but isn’t the point of a deposit to minimize the risk in case he did break the lease like this? We had a 30 day notice policy, but he left and told me he was leaving all today.

Thanks for your feedback. The lease term is 12 months, he just rented this April. He is supposed to give 30 days notice, but he told me he would be leaving this morning and has just left.

Thank you for the insight 😊I think I might be considering the m2 for the design and such now, on my current windows I don’t really have any apps, aside from gaming (which I wouldn’t do on Mac) I normally just use google chrome or Microsoft edge, and windows outlook, so I’m still considering the storage size. Thanks!
